We're proud to support the Sydney Symphony Orchestra to bring Beethoven’s most renowned and recognisable symphony live across NSW from the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall! Saturday 27 October, 2.45 pm — grab a group of friends and head to your local library. Participating libraries include: Wollongong City Libraries [2] Armidale Library [3] Hornsby Library [4] Cessnock City Library [5] Tamworth City Library [6] Parkes Library [7] Woollahra Library [8] Port Macquarie Library [9] The concert will be broadcast live via watch.sydneysymphony.com [10]and on the Sydney Symphony Orchestra 's Facebook [11] page [11]. It will feature the second half of the concert, showcasing Beethoven’s choral symphony, Symphony No.9, with its instantly recognisable “Ode to Joy” theme. ABC Classic FM will broadcast the full concert audio to audiences in Australia and around the world. Margaret Throsby will present the Classic Live broadcast direct from the Sydney Opera House at 2pm.
