Medicare Open Enrollment is October 15 through December 7, 2021

This is the time to review your current plan and compare it to the new plans for 2022. You have probably received notices with information about any changes to your coverage for the coming year. It is important to read and understand these notices, so that you can decide if your coverage will continue to meet your needs or if you should change it. Each year insurance companies are able to change their formularies and premium costs. Although a Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) may cover your medications in 2021, the same plan may not cover the same medications in 2022. It is beneficial to review your plan every year. On Monday, October 4, 2021, our Social Services Department will begin making appointments to review the new 2022 Prescription Drug Plans. If you have access to a computer, you may review the new plans at the “Find Health and Drug Plans” at www.medicare.gov.
