Harmonizing colours between bedroom fabrics and furniture invite you to rest and get a good night’s sleep, while convenient storage and good closet solutions make daily living a lot easier.

The question we must ask ourselves, is of course what the bedroom will be used for? How much space do we need for clothes and toys? How can we sleep better and what can we do to sleep better? Should our bed be positioned high or low? Should we have storage space under the bed or can we add a “walk in closet in that unused corner?

FabLab Design has created many successful bedroom projects, and we always pay attention to that most decisive measure of all – an improvement in sleep quality. It’s about the shape of the room and where the doors and windows are in relation to the bed. It´s about how to harmonize with the colours and fabrics. Finding practical solutions for clothing, books, not to little things such as where to place the coffee cup on a Saturday morning. We also work with electric circuit design to make sure that electromagnetic radiation (EMF) is kept as low as possible in a bedroom. Wall sockets, electric cables, stereo and TV need careful thought before being positioned.

unwind from the stresses of the day. Cooling blues with warm wood offers a good balance.

There are many varieties of wardrobe solutions. From the simplest dresser to a huge “walk in closet”. Any room shape provides opportunities for creative solutions if you know what you want to get from the room. This customer had definite ideas about how to organize her closet. The result was a thoughtful and highly functional wardrobe solution.
