Beckville is a small 1-A district that has been fortunate to
have an administration that understands the importance of
technology.
Because of that, along with grant writing and funding, most
technology needs and standards have been met, or are soon to be
implemented.Beckville ISD
The role technology plays in the nations classrooms varies
dramatically depending on the funding priorities of states,
districts, and schools and individual educators understanding of
how to leverage it in learning in meaningful ways (U.S. Department
of Education, 2010).
National Plan
To prepare students to learn throughout their lives and in
settings, we must change what and how we teach to match what people
need to know, how they learn, and where and when they learn and
change our perception of who needs to learn. We must bring 21st
century technology into learning into meaningful ways to engage,
motivate, and inspire learners of all ages to achieve (USDE,
2010).
