Coming Soon to The Spotlight on the Arts Gallery….

• Master Artist Vickie McMillan and students at Montgomery County Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program (JJAEP) are working to create a mixed-media collaborative “graffiti” art mural (This project funded in part through a Texas Commissions on the Art Grant).

• Master Artist Vickie McMillan and seniors through Interfaith Senior Program and the South County Community Center are working to create a mixed-media, “fun-hearted” water-color self-portrait collaborative art project. (This project funded in part through a Texas Commissions on the Art Grant).

Other Master Artist Projects in the Community coming soon…

• Master Artists Terri Sanders and Elissa Fletcher will be working with the students of Hauke Alternative High School in creating hand-crafted beads, using recycled materials, and incorporating them into a rustic weaving loom symbolizing “How Art Weaves the World Together.”

• Master Artist Sonya Hillman will be teaming up with the art students at Oakridge High School and POD’s to create, “Future Artist of the Waterway POD,” which will be an interactive mural at The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, April 10-12th, along the Waterway in The Woodlands. The mural will be designed for people to be able to “step” into the painting for a photo to look like they are the artist.
