Beat-Off-Silence*, an indie-dance/synth-pop project that can be associated with new artists as they make a new Pop formation: of high quality and interest. Blend of musical styles, search for a new sound, captivating arrangements make the group one of the most relevant on the Russian stage.
Beat-Off-Silence* was founded in early 2010. The project features a bold experimental sound new-wave of 80s - 90s. Misha Ostrovsky’s vivid vocal goes well together with live drum bit by Mike Black, electronic analog synthesizers of Igor Sviridov and Rodion Kravkl’s masterly guitar. It's hard to believe but Rodion extracts the incredible sounds of vintage Fender Mustang by the most unusual items: a sports simulator «power-ball», toothbrush, mobile phone or handheld radio. It makes the show magnetic. Video installations are provided by one of the best Moscow VJs, VJ Brain.
The first concert took place on December 24, 2010 at TV Channel "Rain" Live Show where the band performed a full set.
The presentation of Beat-Off-Silence’s "I'm fine" single has become a unique project in history of the band: it took place on plane during the flight from Moscow to Krasnodar on February 23, 2011 . Beat-Off-Silence is the first music band in history of the Russian civil aviation who performed a concert on board of a passenger aircraft.
On March 30, 2011 the single "I'm fine" was added to Moscow radio station NEXT FM (105,2 FM) rotation. .
At the beginning of 2012, on January 15, the band shoot a new official video “Violet Snowflakes”. At the same moment this video was added to TV Channel ‘Rain’ rotation. In addition, there were more than 30 000 views on internet-recourses in 2 months (youtube.ru, promodj.ru, vkontakte.ru).
On February 3, 2012 the first band’s long-play ‘Electric Tape’ was successfully released in legendary Moscow club “16 Tonns”. There was about 500 people and it has notice attention of Moscow press.
June 27. The band uploaded to Internet the new EP “Harmony/Symmetry”. In a few weeks it became a new history of Beat-Off-Silence*.
At the moment the band is working on the second official video and performs at the legendary Russian clubs and music festivals as well.
