1. Black Bears Ursus americanus By Nathaniel 2. Sizes And Pounds. A average bear can weigh up to 125 to 600 pounds. 3. The size of a female is 150 lbs. The size of a male is 250 lbs. 4. Food. Black bears mostly eat berries, nuts, carrion, insect larvae and fish. 5. Food Fact Did you know if you see nuts in its poo it is fresh. 6. Habitat Males and females live in different spots after having baby's. 7. They mostly live in the wild but sometimes go in town Cubs can live in trees. 8. The bears body.
