)ery short time# dominate the +or"d and 'ontro" peop"es and nations

e)ery+here a$ter they +ere the poorest and the +ea!est peop"e# t in a

)ery short time they rea'hed their goa"s(*hen yo "oo! at these 'onditions# yo +i"" e )ery astonished

and yo +i"" thin! that there is a se'ret# a"thogh it is not something

strange( The se'ret is $o""o+ing the 7oran# or good an'estors made the

7oran a "i)ing oo! among them# the oo! o$ their "i)es# they ne)er

mo)e n"ess they ta!e permission $rom the 7oran( I$ someone +ants to

do something $or himse"$# his +i$e# his son or his so'iety# he re$ers a'!

to the 7oran# he reads it on'e or t+i'e nti" he !no+s the $a't and the

se'ret o$ his deed# i$ the 7oran a""o+s it# he +i"" hasti"y do it# and i$ the

7oran prohiits# he +i"" hasti"y "ea)e it( They made the 7oran theirimam and their 'onstittion that r"es e)erything in this "i$e(

"erily! your Lord nows that you do stand 2to pray at night3alittle less than two:thirds of the night! or half the night! or a third of the

night! and so do a party of those with you 2o"der peop"e3! And Allah

measures the night and the day. He nows that you are unable to pray the

whole night! so He has turned to you 2in mer'y3. 7o! recite you of the

Koran as much as may be easy for you. He nows that there will be some

among you sic! others traveling through the land! seeing of Allah$s

Bounty< yet others fighting in Allah$s Cause. 7o recite as much of the

Koran as may be easy 2$or yo3!"2Srat A"8Mo616am1me"# )erse =@3They say that staying p nights is a dty# $or +homD For o"der
