E A G L E F A R M R A C E C O U R S E : A N E N D U R I N G L E G A C YSince 1865, the heritage-listed racecourse has seen the finest thoroughbreds in Australasia. With a turf track of 28 metres wide, a circumference of 2.027 kilometres and a home straight of 434 metres, it has existed in Brisbane’s consciousness for generations and welcomed thousands of spectators for over 150 years.
It is the people that gather here who make the Eagle Farm Racecourse story so compelling. It has always been a meeting place, first for the indigenous Turrbal clan, then as a base for the US army during World War II. The site was then known as ‘Camp Ascot’ and filled with row after row of tents. More recently, racegoers stream through the gates for the carnival atmosphere while families visit to enjoy the Sunday markets.
This story is only just the beginning. The Ascot Green residential precinct and Eagle Farm Village will provide a space for people to gather for another 150 years. A winning combination of lifestyle, design and tradition, Ascot Green will soon become a beautiful backdrop for races at Eagle Farm Racecourse.

Great care has been taken to create a sense of place that best reflects the history of Eagle Farm Racecourse. A brick base and garden screen visually connects with the masonry and palette of existing heritage buildings, presenting a seamless yet identifiable background to track events. Ascot Green will soon be a signature vista in every televised race coverage.
Its landscaped edges and gateways will be clearly defined, creating a distinct presence for the Brisbane Racing Precinct within the urban context.
An opportunity to further engage and connect with the neighbourhood, Ascot Green will be an integral part of Ascot and its surrounding suburbs. As the precinct comes to life, it will offer inclusive amenities for its residents and the local community.

IMPORTANT NOTE It is presently the intention of Mirvac that Ascot Green will be a multi stage development. It is anticipated that the lot will form part of the community titles scheme known as “Ascot House and Tulloch House” which is intended to be carried out in 2 stages. Stage 1 is Ascot House and the proposed stage 2 is Tulloch House. The swimming pool and gymnasium for Ascot House will be part of the common property and shared with the future Tulloch House. Buyers in Ascot House should be aware however that Tulloch House is a separate stage and may or may not proceed in the future. If Tulloch House does not proceed, certain facilities such as the pool and gymnasium may not proceed as it is anticipated that they will be constructed as part of Stage 2. BRC as the Landowner take no responsibility for the delivery of the residential precinct.
