Definitions

• Native - plant lives or grows here naturally• Exotic or non-native - plant that is not from here,

thus does not have its natural predators• Invasive – Exotic plant that can reproduce and

spreads into natural areas and bring economic, environmental or health problems

• Weed – any plant that people do not want to be where it is at a certain time

• Noxious weed – against the law to sell or propagate
