Insulin syringes
BD Insulin Syringe is single-use, sterile, non-toxic, plastic syringe. It comes with a latex-free rubber stopper with a flat plunger tip (no dead space) for correct insulin dosing.2
In India, insulin is available in the strength of U40 and U100 concentrations. To avoid dosing errors, syringes that match the concentration of U40 and U100 concentrations must be used3. BD Insulin syringes are available in both U-40 and U100. Insulin syringes of U100 have an orange cover and black scale markings denoting two units each, whereas U40 syringes have a red cover and scale marking denoting one unit each.3
