DO YOU WANT
TO LIVE FOR
SOMETHING
THAT’S WORTH DYING FOR?
GOD HAS CALLED US TO JOIN WITH HIM IN PROCLAIMING
THE GOOD NEWS OF HIS KINGDOM TO THE NATIONS; TO BRING HOPE
TO THE LOST, HELP TO THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED AND LOVE TO THE
BROKEN.
OUR GOAL AT BETHANY COLLEGE OF MISSIONS IS TO PREPARE YOU TO
JOIN WITH GOD IN HIS MISSION TO MAKE HIS NAME GREAT.
THE 4 CORE ELEMENTS OF THE BCOM EXPERIENCE ARE:
SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION1
A t Bethany, we strive to provide an
environment that encourages spiritual
growth and transformation. We are convinced
that in order to be an effective missionary,
you must have a vibrant relationship with
God and be fully submitted to the work of
the Holy Spirit. Students experience one-on-
one discipleship, grow in their understanding
and practice of prayer and fasting and are
equipped to study and apply the Word of
God in every area of their lives.
Since being at BCOM my life has completely changes. I have been
making the conscious decision to surrender and let God take control of
every area of my life. Being a student here has helped me to understand
what it means to be fully consecrated to God.
Kenzie, BCOM student
“
A cademics are a pivotal element of the
BCOM experience. We are committed
to providing an exceptional academic
experience that lays a solid foundation for
effective and fruitful ministry. Students aren’t
just told what to believe, they are challenged
to know why they believe what they believe,
and are given the tools that they need to be
life-long learners in whatever context they
find themselves in beyond BCOM.
The professors truly care for the students’ lives. They always encourage
personal growth by telling us to go deeper outside the classroom into
the things they teach. They always tell us to look back at the Bible and
discover why we believe what we believe, instead of just letting us
believe everything that is being said.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE2
EXPERIENTIALLEARNING3
W e believe that the best learning
occurs when the teaching is built
around the opportunity for experience. Our
Global Internship program exemplifies this
principle. Global Internship is a 16-month
intercultural experience within the structure
of our Bachelor of Arts degree. Students live
overseas together in teams at one of our
Global Internship sites, engaging in another
culture, learning a foreign language, and
working together with local missionaries to
bring the Good News to a people group.
“ On Global Internship I learned how to be a learner; how to observe,
and how to be taught. Most importantly though, I learned how to love
people, and saw first-hand how desperate people need a Savior.
Natasha, BCOM student
T he community dynamic at Bethany
provides our students with an
opportunity to build life-long relationships,
while pursing God together in a prayer and
missions-focused environment. Our campus
is multi-generational; including students,
staff interns, families, missionaries and even
founding members of Bethany International.
Students live, study, and work together, all
with the goal of loving God and engaging
together in missions initiatives around the
world.
When I came to Bethany, I was excited to learn and grow in the Lord.
What I didn’t see coming was the incredible community. People were
genuinely interested in who I was and what the Lord had done in my
life. The discipleship and fellowship where have helped to reveal God’s
heart and His desires for His people.
