Project Plan Goals
• Facilitate communication between BPL staff members, departments & branches and contribute to the sense of a BPL Community.
• Effectively support the work of BPL Public Services staff.
• Provide BPL staff with a reliable source of information concerning logistical aspects of working for the Boulder Public Library.
• Introduce BPL staff to the concepts and practices involved in web content management.

• Vetted project plan• Prioritized and fleshed out features list from
user survey.• Provided feedback on Fireworks mockups– All feedback was responded to in writing, for all to
read– Layouts were taken from pre-determined themes
• Result: vetted mockups
Implementation
• LONG I’m a one man web team…• Phased approach was scrapped.– Leadership Team decided more fully functional
site was needed.– Realities of open dialogue wrestled with RISK
