Welcome to BLPS, where hard work is the only talisman and discipline, the only mascot. It is a dreaming

place to learn with a chance to grow; a heaven with proud present and a promising tomorrow. Here the

tradition shakes hands with modernity; creativity and vision are infinite and each child can see beyond

horizon. We have infrastructure to move from snail-mail to e-mail on an express highway. By and by you

will breathe that this school has proved to be the seed ground of many ideas.

George Washington has said “The life of a leader essentially is not that of mastery, but of

service.” As being the School Cabinet Director, I, Urvi Chawla, would like to advise all my fellow friends that one

should not be afraid of pursuing one's dreams, but at the same time, we must uphold our values. I thank the school

management, my esteemed Principal & teachers who laid faith in me and elected me as “School Cabinet

Director.”I assure you all that I will keep striving hard. “Strive for the excellence & success will follow you.”

I would definitely say that education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom. Each parent wants an

overall development of the child which is here in our school. As being the school Cabinet Director, I realized that how

many efforts are being put up by the teachers. I would like to express my immense gratitude to Principal Mam for

Advertisement Enactment :

“An important aspect in communication is listening what isn't said”. Inter House Advertisement Enactment Competition was

SLOGAN WRITING :“Love the earth. It's the only one we've got”. Saving environment is the need of today, the way we are destroying environment will lead to the destruction of life from earth. Therefore, it's necessary that we should save environment and everyone should contribute and should do something to save environment. The best way to e n c o u r a g e o t h e r s t o s a v e environment is to write about it and share. With this motive, BLPS organized an Inter House Slogan Writing Competition for grade I to VII on “Save Environment”.

SCIENCE MODEL MAKING :

An exclusive Science Model

Making Competition was organised

at BLPS with the sole objective of

fostering scientific curiosity and

creativity among the students of

Grade- VIII -X. During the

competition, students and teachers

got exposure to science and various

hand-on activities around the

scientific concept. The students

participated in the competition with full zeal and zest.

SELF- INTRODUCTION :“BLPS believes that competition plays an important role in motivating students to perform and excel than jus t winning pr izes” . BLPS KINDERGARTEN'S tiny tots are always full of enthusiasm. Enormous energy was seen in the students on 15 July 2016 during Self Introduction Competition held in KG wing. The judges were amazed by the way students introduced themselves.

Workshop on Law :Education is not merely the acquirement of syllabus and to pass the examination, keeping in mind the importance of career selection by the students, BLPS organised a workshop for the students of XI &XII. Ms. Priya Gupta, the resource person from Lakshmi Legal Academy enlightened the students about the various courses they can opt after completing XII. However,

she further explained law as a good career option.Volleyball Match :

“Players win games, Teams win championships”.Outdoor Games are a necessity for maintaining good health. If taken in the right perspective, they are the source for exercise, recreation as well as adventure. Keeping in mind the importance of games in students’ life, BLPS organised an Inter House Volley Ball Competition for Boys and Girls. There was an atmosphere of enthusiasm and spirit of winning among the players.

We, as being the students of BLPS, should thank our Principal Ms. Ekta Dhawan for conducting a wonderful trip to Pushpa Gujral Science City. The Classes from VIII to X went for an educational as well as fun visit to Science city. All the students enjoyed the visit by having look on various shows and galleries.
