A Tribute toTeachers
(The Event)
The largest gathering of educators in the Philippines.
Thousands of teachers at one event.
An opportunity to show our appreciation towards our teachers, and show the world that teachers are a positive force in society.
This year: last September 27, 2008 @ SMX Convention Center.
The Many Faces of the Teacher(The Advocacy Campaign)
A search for role models.
The selection process: a call for nominations, shortlisting of qualified nominees, and a selection of honorees by an Advocacy Review Board.
Print and media campaign featuring honorees, who are also recognized during A Tribute to Teachers.
Envisioned to be a five-year program in support of Project: PEPE and FAITH’s construct of the academic ecosystem for public and private schools.
Funding component: provision of FAITH scholarships to deserving students and discretionary funding to participating school principals.
Student development component: inclusion in Pathways to Higher Education, complimentary use of FAITH facilities, and participation in FAITH-organized (or hosted) academic and athletic competitions.
