Because you want your bathroom to be beautiful as well as comfortable,ergonomics always plays a role in our designs. For example, we are all gettingtaller and taller. Therefore we have baths that are extra deep, long or wide.And all baths are designed to be pleas-antly supporting, whether you are alone or together.

DURABILITY

If you invest in a new bathroom, you want to be able to enjoy it for a long time. Therefore you choose durable materials. And that is also what we do. Our baths and shower trays are made of European sanitary acrylic and reinforced with fiberglass. The acrylic ensures a smooth, dyed surface which is easy to clean. Moreover, it rapidly adjusts to the water temperature and its insulating properties ensure that the water in your bath stays hot for a long time.

WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTION

The WISA whirlpool production line in Arnhem not only installs systems in its own baths, any other bath can be fitted with a whirlpool system too. The whirl-pool programme has 12 versions, to match all tastes.

RODANTEBUILT-IN BATH

The special hexagonal shape of the Rodante automatically makes a bathroom exclusive. This is a multi-purpose bath and therefore a challenge for the creative designer to work with. The right side is slightly steeper than the left side, allowing comfortable showering in the Rodante, if desired. The straight lines of the Rodante make it a logical choice for the contemporary bathroom. The Rodante has two symmetrical sides on which you can install a bath edge tap or a whirlpool control button. The best-known and most frequently applied wellness article is the whirlpool or, rather, the massage bath. The reason why, of course, is that many people choose to install a bath in their [new] bathroom. The upgrade from bath to whirlpool is usually a simple step which does not necessarily have to be a big investment, especially when you depreciate it over the average service life of a bathroom, which is 20 years.

The choice for a whirlpool starts with the model of bath you choose. They are available in many shapes and sizes, as you have seen in this brochure. Most important when making this choice is that you are comfortable when you lie in your bath and get wet all over, so also your knees and shoulders! When choosing your massage system, make sure the water jets massages the desired place on your body and you do not have to struggle to achieve this.

You can choose a massage bath with an air system, a water system or a combination of the two. The air system produces hundreds of bubbles for a lovely relaxing feeling and an effective lymph drainage, whereas the water system provides the well-known hydro massage for a deep muscle massage. The hot water and the hydro massage enhance blood circulation. Waste prod-ucts, such as [lactic] acids are flushed out quicker, thereby reducing muscle ache and joint pains. People with narrowing of the capillaries, varicose veins and cellulite will also benefit from a hydro [water] massage system. As a higher vascular volume is achieved, a relaxing hydro massage bath helps when your blood pressure is [too] high. As the air is preheated in the blower, the air massage feels comfortable and does not cool off the bath water quickly.

REFLEX 3 AIR AND WATER [HYDRO] MASSAGE SYSTEMThe REFLEX 3 air and water massage system is a combination of the two above systems, the REFLEX 1 and the REFLEX 2.The base suction allows the water jets to be positioned lower in the bath, compared to a system with side suction, resulting in the hydro massage being much more effective. This is due to the massage jets actually touching your body in the right place. Furthermore, the base suction also ensures a better drainage of the residual water from the pipes and the pump.

The REFLEX massage systems are top quality systems for an attractive price. Compared to other, cheaper massage systems, which usually have a pneumatic push button, the REFLEX systems all have an electronic control button with blue LED lighting. To switch the system on an off only you only have to touch the control button. With the exception of the display, the other components used in the REFLEX system are the same as those of the more expensive SHIATSU systems. SHIATSU MASSAGE SYSTEMS

AIR MASSAGEThe blower on the air system is equipped with a heating element, which [pre]heats the supplied air. This ensures that the bath water does not cool off quickly and the air massage always feels pleasant. The display allows for infinite adjust-ment of the power of the air massage. By activating the interval function you can vary the power of the air massage in a continuous cycle from powerful to gentle. As soon as the bath water has run away, the automatic blow-clean function becomes operational, which ensures that no residual water remains in the air pipes under the bath. The dry run protection ensures that you cannot activate the system when there is no water in the bath.

WATER [HYDRO] MASSAGEThe water [hydro] massage system is supplied as standard with base suction technology. This means that the pump draws in the water via the waste. The advantage of which is that no suction grille is required [aesthetically more pleasing] and that the jets can be positioned lower, ensuring that the water jets will actually touch your body. As the suction pipe of the pump is directly connected to the waste, the residual water in the pipes and pump are drained off better. The waste has a relief valve which ensures that the pump stops working the instant the supply of water is obstructed for whatever reason. You can control the power of the massage by add-ing air to the water jet. Instead of a separate rotary button on the edge of the bath, the SHIATSU system is operated electronically. The pulsator function turns the air mixing on and off in succession and the interval function switches the pump on and off in succession. The dry run protection ensures that you cannot activate the system when there is no water in the bath.

AUTOMATIC PROGRAMME FUNCTIONAll SHIATSU and THAI massage systems are equipped as standard with a unique programme function. With the programme button you activate the automatic massage programme. During the pre-programmed period of 15 minutes, all massage options of the system are activated alternatingly, together or separately. While you are dreaming away and enjoying the lovely varied massage, the system does the work. Total relaxation, that was what you wanted, wasn’t it?

The SHIATSU massage systems all have many functions as standard to ensure you have a relaxing time in your massage bath. The ultra level display with fingertip control is integrated in the edge of the bath. As standard this display is equipped with the latest LED technology, so that you can always see which function you activated.

THAI MASSAGE SYSTEMS

AIR MASSAGEThe air massage system is equipped with an air pump instead of a blower. This provides an extra relaxing massage, since the air pump hardly makes any noise. The air is distributed over no less than 24 air jets so that your whole body is really touched by thousands of air bubbles making their way to the surface of the water. Due to the whisper-quiet air pump and the extra small air bubbles you experience the mas-sage as if you were lying in a bubble bath.

WATER [HYDRO] MASSAGEThe keen user of a hydro massage system does not know what is happening to him or her when he or she gets into the THAI water [hydro] massage bath. No less than 30 nano jets provide a memorable back massage. Every part of your back, from the small of the back up to the shoulders is massaged by the small nano jets. The size of the nano jets and the distribution of pressure ensure that the skin will not become irritated and you can enjoy a long, unique massage. The feet are treated too; 4 mini jets do an effective job here. Enjoyment is given a whole new meaning with a THAI massage system.

CHROMOTHERAPY [FOR ALL SYSTEMS]The effect of colours on our biorhythm is what chromotherapy is based on. Coloured waves of light create sources of energy that emit vibrations. Each colour has a specific wavelength, speed and rhythm and chromotherapy uses those properties to stimulate or normalise poor energy flows within the body. Not only does chromotherapy have a beneficial effect on your body and mind, the many colours, such as blue, green, yellow and red, also give your bathroom warmth and atmosphere. You can activate the colours separately or have them run in cycles. The chromotherapy option and the white underwater lighting can also be ordered without the massage system, for the same price. The chromotherapy and the white underwater lighting is then operated by a touch button that is also used for the REFLEX 1 system.

The THAI massage systems all have many functions as standard to ensure you have a relaxing time in your massage bath. The ultra level dis-play with fingertip control is integrated in the edge of the bath. As standard this display is equipped with the latest LED technology, so that you can always see which function you activated. As for operation and electronic options, the THAI systems are the same as the SHIATSU systems. The major difference lies in the experience of the various massages.

WAVEDESIGN MASSAGE SYSTEMS

The Wavedesign massage systems are assembled and manufactured per order. The advantage of which is that your massage bath can be customised to your requirements.

SYSTEM COMPONENTSThe system components [pump, blower and control unit] are located under the bath and must re-main accessible after the bath has been installed, for example by means of an access hatch [min. 40x40 cm]. If you have opted for an air or combination system, a ventilation opening has to be installed in the bath surround. The drawings above show the indications you have to take into account for the access hatch. If you want to have the system components in another place under the bath, then please indicate this clearly by means of a drawing on the order form [see opposite page]. It is possible that they will extend outside the edge of the bath.

VISIBLE PARTSThe visible parts [display, air and water jets] are made of chrome and can be custom-installed in the places you request. Please indicate these desired positions on the order form [see page 65]. If there is no specific indication, the positions of the visible parts will be determined by the factory.

MAINTENANCEThe pipes and fittings around and under your bath must be cleaned periodically, just like your bath, because they come into contact with [dirty] bath water during bathing, even when you are not using your system. We therefore recommend that you flush your system once a month with 100 ml whirlpool cleaner [art.no. 5050401120]. We also recommend that you only use bath perfume or bath salts in your mas-sage bath. When using bath oils, you should ensure that they have an emulsifying effect [dilute completely in water] and do not leave an oily rim around the bath.
