Basic Information Quick Biography, Jerry Hernandez (Paco) I have been in the semi-conductor community for the past 30 years. My back ground is in the field of Mechanical Engineering in Liquid transfer and Hydraulic movement. I’m well established in the semi- conductor and solar communities. I have 8 years in high purity water systems such as Reverse Osmosis Units to Deionization System. 12 years in chemical processing units from Chemical Dispense Cabinets to Solvent Delivery Systems. 8 years of experience in solar processing and several years in waste water recovery units. I’ve engineered, designed, and developed equipment for every phase of a semi-conductor wafer. I am one of the pioneers in the use of PVDF in high purity water systems, 1981. I’ve engineered and developed chemical management systems for most chip manufacturers. I’ve engineered wet bench systems for wafer processing and cleaning. I’ve designed and build chemical recovery units and AWN (Acid Waste Neutralization) systems. Helped in engineering one of the largest waste recovery systems in the east coast for Big Blue utilizing coagulants and flocculants. Helped the Navy in the field of GPS positioning systems for missile accuracy. I have experiences in the designing of medical equipment for one of the largest medical tool manufacturers in the United States. Working with Exergy, I’ve designed and built EthorCEL units for Seagate. Celerity,

Scott Squires (Manufacturing Engineering Manager at FMC Technologies)

Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Jerry (Paco) and I worked together at Celerity on what were at the time cutting edge products both from the aspect of technical complexity and the business plan for capitalizing on the product. Jerry provided technical insight to the design process that improved both the design and the manufacturing cost of the product. His in-depth knowledge of the design process and the design tools coupled with his ability to maintain a sense of hummer during crunch time made working with Jerry. I look forward to the opportunity to work with Paco again.

Microbar Corp.

Carter Hall (SVP- GM at Capitol Area Technology) (512) 538-5559

Jerry (Paco) and I have worked on multiple projects at multiple companies over past 20 years. Jerry is the person you want on a team becasue he has the skills to listen and understand what a client needs, understands cost engineering and can do the complete design/build/implementation of a project if requred. I will always want Jerry on my teams if the opportunity is there.

Engineering Manager / Mechanical Engineer

Systems Chemistry, Inc.

Joe Foster (VP Business Development at Alta Devices) (408) 960-7890

Jerry (Paco) is an extremely talented engineer and a prolific designer. His work combines a unique mix of science, technology, pragmatics, and artistry. His accomplishments are many and his designs enduring. He was a true asset to our organization and a pleasure to work with.

Ken Adrian (VP of Operations at Zen-Pure)

Jerry (Paco) is an excelled engineer. He always came through for me in designing products that the customer needed and wanted. He always had a great attitude to work and getting the job done. It was always a pleasure to work with Jerry (Paco).

John Traub (President/CEO, Nanolab Technologies Inc.)

Jerry (Paco) was an effective contributor in our Engineering Organization and a key member of the turnaround team at Systems Chemistry.

Engineered Solutions

Tom Doak (Director at Lumasense) (408) 607-0980

“After working previously with Paco for several years at Microbar designing and building semiconductor capital equipment, I didn't hesitate to hire Paco to work with me at Engineered Solutions. His years of experience with wet chemistry systems proved to be valuable to the success of chemical mix/blend and delivery systems he designed at Engineered Solutions. Since leaving ES, we have continued to work together on other design projects. I have not encountered many mechanical engineers who can have a tool half designed by the time we leave an initial customer meeting but that is one resource he consistently brings to the table.”
