COURSE PRESENTATIONCOURSE PRESENTATION

Introduction

In the undergraduate teacher’s process of training in the specific field, the communicative competences of the English language as well as its linguistic formal aspects are taught simultaneously. So far, they have developed basic competences in the four communicative skills of English and use them accurately in specific contexts.

A new formal stage in the undergraduate teachers’ process begins to take place. The course not only encourages the trainee to be a formal user and analyst of the EFL, but also to become a pedagogue. Therefore, the growth of the linguistic competence is crucial for their future teaching practice, as well as pronunciation components.

The current course of Basic English III consolidates important strategies in several fields and provides training in other areas of knowledge which will be evidenced in different settings and linguistic aspects.
