Harrison posted at least RQH� KLW� DQG� UXQ� LQ� HDFK� RI� WKH� ¿YH� JDPHV��2Q� WKH�week, Harrison hit .429 with nine hits including a GRXEOH�� WULSOH� DQG� WKUHH� KRPH� UXQV� WR� JR� ZLWK� ¿YH�RBI and scored eight times. HOME RUN DERBYAfter a slow start in the power department, the Ragin’ Cajuns have put on a power display the last couple weeks posting 22 home runs heading into the third week of conference play. The team ranks third in the nation in home runs this season with 30 on the year. Michael Strentz, Jace Conrad and Seth Harrison are WLHG�IRU�WKH�WHDP�OHDG�ZLWK�¿YH�KRPH�UXQV�����SOD\HUV�on the team have had at least one HR this season. The Cajuns led the nation in home runs a season ago with 74. The team returns 82 percent of its home runs led by Caleb Adams who had 16 and ranked ninth in the country in home runs. Louisiana had 11 players leave the yard in 2013.
BASEBALL AT THE “TIGUE”M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field is in its 37th year of service (1978-present) to the Louisiana baseball program. The Cajuns all-time record in the facility stands at 809-313-2. Louisiana is 416-158-1 all time at the “Tigue” under head coach Tony Robichaux including a 13-2 record at home this season.
RECORDS FALL AT THE TIGUEThe Alabama series saw a new series attendance record set as a total of 12,075 fans passed through the gates at the Tigue over the weekend. The Cajuns rank 10th in the nation in average attendance and have had over 10,000 fans pass through the gates in all four home series in 2014.

CONRAD NOTCHES SBC AWARDThe offensive explosion by Jace Conrad against Texas Southern earned him Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week honors to give the Cajuns their third weekly award in 2014. Conrad drove in 10 runs against the Tigers with three straight multi-RBI games. Conrad opened the series with a pair of RBI in the opening contest. ROBICHAUX EARNS THIRD SBC POW AWARDJunior Austin Robichaux earned his third Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week award after posting a complete game shutout of No. 21 Alabama. Robichaux scattered seven hits in the outing while striking out 11. This is his third time to receive the honor, once in 2012 and once in 2013. The 2012 award was also for complete game shutout defeating Middle Tennessee in seven innings on the road, 14-0. Robichaux has two quality starts in three appearances this season.
