About BASBahrain Airport Services (BAS), founded in 1977, is committed to service quality, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction while maintaining a stance in the implementation of the highest standard of safety and security in the industry.

Airport & Ground Operations: It is a front line operation that has a handling capacity of nine million passengers annually, currently serving 36 airlines. In the area of premium services, the Dilmun Lounge, operated by BAS at Bahrain International Airport, has been awarded the highly prestigious award of “Lounge of the Year - MENA” for six consecutive years.

Cargo Services: This state-of-the-art Cargo Centre handles 280,000 tonnes of freight per annum.

Catering Services: BAS Catering Services caters to over 28 airlines including Private and Royal Flights. They have won many prestigious international awards for their impeccable innovation and quality.

Aircraft Engineering Services: They handle 8,000 aircraft maintenance movements in a year, providing high servicing standards to 17 customer airlines.

BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre (BAETC): The first such organisation in the region provides basic aircraft engineering training, specialised aircraft type-rating courses, as well as ground operations training, HACCP, Food Hygiene and Safety Training.

VISION & MISSION

CATERING ServicesBAS caters to over 28 airlines flying through Bahrain as well as private and Royal Flights on a 24/7 basis. With a daily capacity of 35,000 meals, an average of 500,000 meals per month are freshly prepared. In full compliance with international HACCP standards, in- flight meals, bonded stores and commissary items are assembled for individual requirements and delivered directly to the aircraft.

Specially trained staff from our in-house hygiene laboratory carries out systematically the microbiological and bacteriological qualitative testing of facilities, equipment and food. A dedicated, modern fleet of 32 refrigerated High Loaders guarantee seamless transport to the Aircraft. Facilities such as VIP kitchen, back-up generators, supply of ionic treated sweet water and dry compactors for recycling ensure high standards and quality.

Our Terminal Catering manages and operates the Sky Restaurant at the Bahrain International Airport departure concourse, while also preparing special meals for the premium passenger Dilmun Lounge.

OUTSIDE Catering ServicesBAS is proud to provide five star catering services. Having all the necessary resources, BAS can cater events from the most upscale events including corporate functions and business luncheons, to far more casual affairs. We ensure the finest foods and services for whomever we cater to.

We also provide catering services to one of Bahrain’s telecom giant Zain. The Catering Division runs the staff canteen at the company’s Bahrain headquarters for it’s over 200 employees as well as handles all Zain’s corporate function requirements. This involves providing a lunch buffet for all their staff as well as snacks, salads and various other refreshments throughout the day.

Other satisfied clients include ALBA and APM Terminals.

OUTSIDE Catering ServicesBAS has built an impressive reputation for its health care catering servies and currently serves two of Bahrain’s top hospitals, providing King Hamad University Hospital with fully integrated catering services of the highest quality, and supplies delicious and nutritious daily breakfast meals, from seven different menus to Salmaniya Medical Centre. All meals will fully comply with the world- class health and medical care standards. BAS serves all therapeutic diets for hospital patients, staff and hospital visitors as well as catering special functions.

We continue our business diversification strategy dynamically based on our core expertise of providing a wonderful and satisfied experience to each and every one of our clients and customers. A Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system is in place with strict international hygiene regulations & standards. Our catering division has won multiple awards for innovation and quality.

In-flight cuisine speaks volumes about the image and level of service of airlines. Bahrain Airport Services’ high quality and modern in-flight catering infrastructure covers an area of approximately 11,000 square meters and has a maximum production capacity of 35,000 meals daily.

BAS Catering Division has built up a reputation for providing services and quality at highly competitive prices. We offer catering services to over 28 airlines flying through Bahrain as well as private and Royal Flights. All working areas are air-conditioned while special duplex fresh air handling units are also provided in food handling areas. A total of 35 modular rooms, modern blast freezer as well as chillier equipment and defrost rooms with temperature control facilities are in operation.

We continuously work to offer our guests high quality catering services. Every product and ingredient that is used in the food we serve is carefully selected and the conditions and environment in which the food is prepared is constantly monitored and maintained.

A Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system is in place with stringent international hygiene regulations & standards. We also train our catering staff to adhere to these standards and constantly upgrade their knowledge with the continuous changes in the industry, so that we will be able to offer our guests the best products and services. Our catering services department has won many prestigious international awards in recognition of its innovations and quality.

تتحدث الوجبات المقدمة على متن الطائرة عن صورة ومستوى الخدمة في شركة الطيران؛ لذلك يغطي تموين شركة خدمات مطار البحرين العالي الجودة والعصري مساحة تعادل ١١ ألف متر مربع وقدرة إنتاجية

تصل إلى ٣5 ألف وجبة يوميا.

خدمات التموين الخارجيتفتخر باس بتوفير خدمات تموين تجارية واستعدادها بتوفير

جميع الموارد الضرورية الالزمة بتموين الفعاليات المختلفة بدءا من االحتفاالت الراقية مثل فعاليات الشركات ومآدب الغداء وصوال إلى الفعاليات االعتيادية، مع ضمان أجود األطعمة والخدمات التي

نقدمها إلى زبائننا.

كما نقوم بتوفير خدمات التموين إلى زين؛ إحدى شركات االتصاالت البحرينية العمالقة؛ إذ يدير قسم التموين مقصف الموظفين في

مقر الشركة في البحرين والذي يخدم ما يزيد على ٢٠٠ موظف كما يلبي جميع االحتياجات التموينية لفعاليات زين المختلفة، وذلك

يشمل بوفيهات الغداء والوجبات الخفيفة والسلطات والمرطبات طوال اليوم.

خدمات التموينتلبي شركة باس أفضل خدمات التموين إلى ما يزيد على ٢٨ شركة طيران في البحرين، باإلضافة إلى رحالت

الطيران الخاص والملكي، على مدار الساعة وطوال أيام األسبوع . وبمعدل ٣5 ألف وجبة يومية، يتم إعداد ما معدله 5٠٠ ألف وجبة طازجة في الشهر. ومع االلتزام التام بمعايير الهاسب )HACCP( الدولية في وجبات

الرحالت؛ يتم إعداد الوجبات وتسليمها مباشرة إلى الطائرة.

يقوم الموظفون المدربون تدريبا خاصا في مختبر الصحة العامة التابع لنا بفحوص ميكروبيولوجية وبكتريولوجية نوعية ومنهجية للمرافق والمعدات والمواد الغذائية؛ فضال عن تخصيص إسطول مواصالت

مكون من ٣٢ مركبة تحميل مبردة؛ لضمان النقل السلس للوجبات إلى الطائرة والتموين الخارجي، في حين توفر المرافق، مثل مطبخ كبار الشخصيات )VIP( والمولدات االحتياطية.

يدير قسم التموين الداخلي ويشغل مطعم Sky في صالة المغادرين في مطار البحرين الدولي، كما يعد وجبات خاصة لقاعة دلمون للمسافرين بالدرجة األولى ودرجة رجال األعمال.

الشرق األوسط وشمال أفريقيا« المرموقة لمدة ست سنوات متتالية.

خدمات الشحن: يتعامل مركز الشحن مع ٢٨٠ ألف طن من البضائع سنويا.

خدمات التموين: تلبي خدمات باس للتموين حاجات أكثر من ٢٨ شركة طيران باإلضافة إلى الرحالت الخاصة والملكية، وقد فازت بالعديد من الجوائز الدولية المرموقة نظير خدماتها العالية الجودة.

خدمات هندسة الطائرات: تقدم خدمات صيانة الطائرات إلى ما يقارب ٨ آالف طائرة سنويا، وذلك عبر توفير معايير الخدمة العالية إلى ١٧ عميال من شركات الطيران.

مركز باس للتدريب على هندسة الطائرات )BAETC(: أول منظمة من نوعها في المنطقة والتي توفر التدريب األساسي في هندسة الطائرات والدورات التدريبية المتخصصة في الطيران باإلضافة إلى التدريب على عمليات المناولة األرضية ات والتدريب

على نظام الهاسب )HACCP( الوقائي والصحة الغذائية والسالمة.
