Here’s what people are saying about our project:

“On behalf of the Canadian Garden Council’s Garden Days program, are pleased to inform you that the

Barrels Bloom - Downtown Beamsville Community Arts Project was unanimously selected to be the

Garden Days Provincial Flagship Event for Ontario. A flagship event is one that best exemplifies Garden

Days, engages a broad diversity of community partners and promotes gardening and the celebration of

our gardening culture! This is a watershed moment in the history of Garden Days - we have never had so

many different groups engaged in a Garden Days activity! As Carol mentioned we reached out to new

groups this year and you have engaged almost all of them in one ‘barrels of fun’ Barrel’s Bloom event!

Having “roots” in the wine business and one of the early adopters of the SHSM program when I was on

the team helping to develop the curriculum years ago….I am exceptionally thrilled to see the

collaboration you have created! BRAVO!” ~ Liz Klose Garden Days Committee Chair.

“That’s amazing! I’ve posted about it on all my platforms! Congratulations!” ~Sean James Ontario

Garden Days Spokesperson

“Great collaboration of Lincoln's strengths to bring focus on our downtown. And to be selected as the

Canadian Garden Council flagship event is outstanding!” ~Town of Lincoln Councillor MacPherson.

“Congratulations and well done. A great project and partnership to beautify the downtown.” ~ Town of

Lincoln Councillor Timmers.

“That's incredible! Certainly a driving force to put Beamsville on the map! Proud to be downtown BIA

members!” ~Downtown Beamsville BIA Vice Chair of the Board and Chair of Farmer’s Market Committee

Jennifer Turner.

“This is wonderful! We are delighted to be a part of the wonderful project”. ~ Tammy Kruck, Sr. Manager

of Customer Relations & Sales Malivoire Wine.

“VERY EXCITING! Congratulations BIA - for all your years of work! Great job getting us here!" ~

Deborah Dueck Downtown Business Owner.
