Thought of the Month: “Education is what survives when what has been learnt has been forgotten.” Activities in School Primary: 03.01.2015 195 students from std VI to VIII gave The Shrimad Bhagvad Gita Exam during school hours. 10.01.2015 The most awaited Annual Day of our school was celebrated this year with a difference! It was a Cultural Fest with the theme- “Incredible India.” To accommodate the overwhelming crowd of parents and students, it was hosted at the Polo Club ground. 13.01.2015 Students of std III to VIII prepared beautiful and attractive masks in the ‘Mask
making activity.’ 20.01.2015 22 students gave the General Knowledge Exam( organized by Silver Zone) during
school hours. Students of std III to VIII participated in the Poster making activity on the topic, “Republic Day.”
23.01.2015 Vasant Panchami and The Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by students of std II . Little children created a festive mood celebrating the religious festival and a feeling of patriotism by doing March past in the campus.
24.01.2015 Parents of std II attended the Paper showing session from 11:15am to 12:15 pm.
25.01.2015 22 students participated in the prestigious NSTSE Exam that was conducted in the school.
26.01.2015 66th Republic Day was celebrated in the school premises. March past by SPC students , NCC Parade, Cultural program and Band played by our Primary children were some of the attractions of this day!

An overwhelming response was seen in another external exam organized by SOF, i.e. The International English Olympiad. 101 students from std I to VIII participated in this exam during school hours.
30.01.2015 As per the directives issued by the Government of Gujarat, all the students from Std. I to VIII observed two minutes silence at 11:00 am. followed by oath to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi and then participated in the Drawing Competition on the topic “Mahatma Gandhi & Cleanliness” .

Camp: Primary 01.01.2015
to 05.01.2015
Std VIII children enjoyed the most awaited camp i.e. Marine Camp to Mithapur.
Meeting & Workshop : K.G & Primary: 16.01.2015 Our Principal- Ms Priya Makhijani attended the Managing Committee Meeting in
the A V Room , BHS Alkapuri. 19.01.2015 Our Science teacher, Ms Neerja Chauhan presented a Lesson Plan and PPT in
the A V Room of BHS Alkapuri. 31.01.2015 Our Hindi teacher Dr Anjana Bhatt & Gujarati teacher, Ms Suman Nayak
presented a Lesson Plan and PPT on their respective subjects at BHS Danteshwar. On the same day 10 teachers attended a workshop on “Effective English Teaching” that was organized by CORDOVA Publishers in the A V Room at BHS Alkapuri.

Out of School Activity – K.G 09.01.2015
It was Fun & Enjoyment for all the Tiny Tots of K.G, when they had a ride in Joy Train at Kamati Baug.
30.01.2015 Display & Action Song presentation on the topic “Fruits” was conducted at V.M.Patel Centre for Excellence Auditorium, Alkapuri. “Butterfly Group” children participated. Models, charts & real fruits were displayed. Parents visited the same. All the children also visited it alongwith the class teachers.
Out of School Activity – Primary 20.01.2015 4 students from std VII & VIII participated in the Interschool Quiz Contest
organized at the Bal Bhavan. 22.01.2015 & 23.01.2015
Our music teacher, Mr Jaydeep Behre , PE teachers , Ms Uma Ghagh and Mr Aakash Modi accompanied around 100 students of Drum Circle and SPC to participate in the Vadfest organized at Samta Ground.
25.01.2015 20 students from UKG to VIII participated in the Art Competition conducted at the Bal Bhavan.
25.01.2015 Teachers & parents of KG & Primary attended an enriching session on “Effective Parenting” by Swami Gyanvatsaldasji at the V.M.Patel Centre of Excellence.
