The following non-teaching activities have been part of my academic responsibility:

Training and Supervising of Graduate Assistants for EDFI 202 (1991-1997) and CS 400 (2002- 2005)

Supervised undergraduate elementary students field experience (spring,1988, Indiana University/Purdue University at Fort Wayne)

Co-ordinating and developing a Cultural Studies of Education program with 3 to 7 faculty, depending on the year and configuration. My responsibilities include

the mentoring of junior faculty, the scheduling of courses, development of curriculum, and supervising of 6 graduate teaching and research assistants.

Supervising a department of 14 faculty, 5 staff, and 4 program areas, including:

Cultural Studies in Education; Instructional Technology; Public Health; and Health

and Safety. My responsibilities included the hiring and evaluating of personnel, the overseeing of the curriculum and faculty, staff, and student needs, the managing of the department budget, and the representation of the department to the dean’s Executive Council.
