CHILDHOOD
Barack Obama Jr. was born on August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
His father and his mother separated when he was two and, after a while, his mother married Lolo Soetoro. Barack lived with his mother, new father and new sister in Indonesia for 4 years.
FROM TEN YEARS OLD
When he was ten, he moved back to USA to live with his mother grandparents in Hawaii.
HIS PASSION: BASKETBALLAfter the school he liked body surfing, hanging out with his friends and playing basketball. He loved to play basketball and loves it even today.
COLLEGE and UNIVERSITY
He went to college in Los Angeles, and later he went to Columbia University in New York City. He got his law degree in Harvard University, becoming a civil right layer.
FAMILYBarack Omana met his future wife, Michelle Robinson, at University. She is also a lawyer. Then they married and had two dughters: Malia and Sasha.
POLITICAL LIFE
He was Senator for Illinois from 1997 to 2004 for the Democratic Party. He had a big success as a Senator and as a speaker and he was chosen for the nomination as President.
HISTORICAL MOMENTIt was an historical moment when Barack Obama was elected in 2009 the first African American President of the United States.
In 2012 he won also election as President for the second time.
LEADERSHIP
Obama demonstrated Leadership when:
• In 2009 during the Presidential election he gave a speech, called “Yes, we can” that became famous and convinced people to vote him.
• Before that, when he decided to work as a civil right lawyer and started political life.

I think that Barack Obama and Martin Luther King are similar because:
