2. Do I need Internet connection to use this Bank Islam Mobile App? Yes, you need to have Internet connection in order to use this application.
The Bank Islam Mobile App will be able to operate on data and Wi-Fi.
3. Do I need to use the Bank Islam Mobile App for all transactions? No. You only need to authorise transactions initiated via Bank Islam
Internet Banking above RM10,000 to third party by using Bank Islam
Mobile App or any transactions determined by Bank Islam. Bank Islam will

6. What is the minimum mobile device requirement to use the Bank
Islam Mobile App? a) The mobile device must not be jailbroken or rooted.
b) Internet connection is required.
c) Mobile device Operating System must be iOS 8.0 and above or Android version
4.4 and above.
7. Is there any charge to use the new Bank Islam Mobile App? The application is free and can be downloaded from Google Play Store
(for Android) or App Store (for iOS). However, there may be data charges
imposed by your mobile service provider when you access the
application.
8. Which User ID and password do I need to key in during the
registration of Bank Islam Mobile App? You need to key in your Internet Banking User ID, password and your
identity card number during the registration of Bank Islam Mobile App.
9. Is the Bank Islam Mobile App secure? Yes, the application is equipped with the following security features:
a) Only one mobile device registered with Bank Islam Mobile App can be tied to
your Bank Islam Internet Banking access (i.e. User ID).
b) Access to banking services is protected by a secured login procedure using
private image and private word to ensure the application is connected to the
official Bank Islam Internet Banking page.
c) Sensitive data such as password or transaction information will be transmitted
on public network through secured protocols SSL, TLS or HTTPS.
d) Confidential account information is not stored in the mobile device.
10. How do I know when my transfer is successful? After you have authorised the transaction via the Bank Islam Mobile App,
the status will be displayed on the mobile screen. You can verify the
completion of the transaction on the Internet Banking screen.

11. I have initiated a transaction on Internet Banking but I do not see
any transaction pending authorisation in the Bank Islam Mobile
App. What should I do? Please press the refresh button at the bottom of the mobile screen (refer
to the image below for illustration). You will be able to view the pending
authorisation transaction upon refresh.
12. Why did I not receive push notification even after I have
registered my device? Push notification is disabled by default. To enable push notification, it can
be done through > Push notification. You are required to agree to the
terms and conditions before enabling the function.

13. What happens if I lose my mobile phone? Please contact Bank Islam Contact Centre at 03-26900 900 immediately
to disable your Bank Islam Internet Banking access when you discovered
that your mobile device is lost or stolen. After you have obtained an
alternate mobile device, you are required to call Bank Islam Contact
Centre to enable your Bank Islam Internet Banking access AND register
your new mobile device.
14. Can I access the Bank Islam Mobile App when I travel overseas? Yes, you can access the Bank Islam Mobile App provided you have access to
Internet on your mobile device. Please check with your mobile service provider
for applicable roaming charges when you travel overseas.
15. Why am I required to answer additional questions after
authorising transaction via Bank Islam Mobile app? After you have authorised a transaction, you may be directed to answer
additional security questions for fraud prevention. After successfully
answered all the additional questions, your transaction will be executed
accordingly.
