Preparing For Camp
APPEARANCE & CONDUCT CODE
GWSM Summer Band Camp is a fundamental and conservative program with high standards of excellence in lifestyle and performance objectives existing to train youth for local church and Christian school involvement. As such it is primarily a Christian music education opportunity and while conducted in a camp type atmosphere the extra discipline and focus required makes it a bit more intense than the average youth camp experience. Thus, in accordance with generally accepted standards of appropriateness governing Christian educational programs as well as that of more formal concert attire and to avoid giving offense to those of differing backgrounds the camp appearance and conduct guidelines have been established. It is expected that all staff and students will be in compliance at all times showing deference to the spirit and intent of the stated dress and conduct code. A detailed guide and checklist of items needed is available to assist with camp preparation by visiting www.yaltm.com (Youth & Life Training Minis-tries) and selecting the Band Camp tab.
