The hours the flare ran during Q1 2015 are shown in Fig 1 and the methane % flared is shown in Fig 2. In general the flare has been maintaining a temperature over 1000°C, and is running well. It ran continuously for 24hours a day except for four occasions during the quarter when it was down. These occasions are detailed below:
• 05-01-15 at 12:30 until 07-01-15 at 15:00 – Condensate chamber full due to airline failure on the leachate pump. The airline was repaired.
• 26-01-15 at 07:30 until 27-01-15 at 10:15 – Flow regulator supplying the analyser had failed causing spurious high O2 readings. Regulator tubing was replaced.
• 03-03-15 at 12:00 until 04-03-15 at 12:15. Air leak at well head LFG18 causing high O2 ingress. Gasket replaced.
• 24-03-15 at 11:00 until 25-03-15 at 10:45. Wellhead not properly replaced after pump servicing causing high O2 ingress. Wellhead correctly put in place.
Gas balancing was carried out by IBSL. Onsite gas well balancing reports are shown below.
