TIE BREAKING PROCEDURE
In the event that there is a tie among the teams in a pool at the conclusion of round robin play, the following tie breaking system will be used to break the tie and decide the standings within the pool: 1. The ratio of points for divided by the points scored against, between all teams tied. The lowest ratio takes last place within the pool. If there is still a tie, then the highest overall points establishes the lowest standing. 2. First and second place within the pool is then decided by the game that was played during the round robin, between the two remaining teams.
OVERTIME PROCEDURE In the event of a tie score at the end of regulation time, the team which scores 7 points first shall be declared the winner.
3 POINT SHOOTING CONTEST – HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS Each team will select one player who will shoot at half time of their team’s first two games. The two highest totals after the first two rounds will be brought to the half time of the championship final for the final shoot.
