Conveyance Benefit Accident Shield Consumables

If the insured car is in a workshop following an accidental damage and claim for accidental damage is accepted, we will pay the insured a per day cash benefit as per plan opted by the Insured.*

* Conditions applicable to Conveyance Benefit

1. Claims made under ‘Conveyance Benefit’ are subject to the conditions set forth under the Private Car Package Policy.

2. In case of transfer of ownership of the Insured Vehicle, the cover under ‘Conveyance Benefit’ shall expire.

3. The benefit period will commence from the date of survey completion by the surveyor provided the Own Damage Claim is admissible.

We will compensate the occupants of the insured car for death and/or permanent total disability arising out of an accidental bodily injury due to an accident while traveling in the insured car. *

1. Claims made under ‘Accident Shield’ are subject to the conditions set forth under the Private Car Package Policy

2. In case of transfer of ownership of the Insured Vehicle, the cover under ‘Accident Shield’ shall expire.

We will cover cost of consumables required to be replaced/ replenished during the repair of the damaged vehicle.*

*Conditions applicable to Consumables

Consumable include engine oil, gear box oil, power steering oil , coolant , AC gas oil , brake oil , AC refrigerant , battery electrolyte , windshield washer fluid, radiator coolant, nut & bolt, screw, oil filter, fuel filter, bearings, washers, clip, wheel balancing weights , and items of similar nature excluding fuel.

The insured vehicle is damaged by a covered peril mentioned under the own damage section of the Private Car Package Policy and needs to be repaired,
