Census standardized for the GCC in 2010Decision of the Supreme Council At its twenty-second -

Muscat 2010

Supreme Council of the Gulf, has considered the recommendations of theMinisterial Council at its eihty-first preparatory round appro!in the

recommendation of the Committee for "lannin and De!elopment at its tenth

meetin on the standardization of time periods for eneral censuses in the

countries of the Council, and to achie!e the interation of statistical acti!ities of the

GCC countries and the cost sa!ins, and has decided that#

$%ach of the Mem&er States should conduct census in 2010, and standardize

periods of eneral censuses to &e held in e!ery ten years' (
