Dear Melia Sari,
I’m sorry, I haven’t written for so long. My family and I have just returned from an
interesting holiday at Sengigi Beach, Nusa Tengara Barat. The seashore was covered
by white sand and coconut trees. We swan in the beach, ate fish from the beach and
enjoyed the cool breezes.
After that, we had a four hours trip to Mount Rinjani, a magnificient mount which
was clean, clear and friendly. Our trip to the peak of the mount took us to the Lake
Segara Anak, Caldera, and a waterfall. The beautiful valley and and pine trees can be
seen everywhere. I really enjoy my vacation. Do come over and have a look
sometime.
Love

city streets because they felt the work to be degrading to the drivers.
Becaks are widely missed by people who live in housing complexes off the main roads
and small roads which are not serviced by bus routes - as their sheer numbers in the city
prior to the crackdown attests to how widely they were used. It used to be a common site in

The following text is for questions 27 to 30.
The Old Man and the Durian Tree
In a very quiet little village, lived an old man whose age was over 80 years old.
He was planting a durian tree when a neighbor observed him. The neighbor asked
the old man, “Do you expect to eat durian from that tree? The durian tree will
take about 8 years to bear a fruit. “
The old man rested on his spade and smiled. He said, “No, at my age I won’t.
All my life I have been enjoying durians, but never from a tree have I planted
before. I wouldn’t have had durians if other men haven’t done what I am doing
now. I am just trying to pay the other men who have planted durian for me.” No
wonder he looked so happy.
We should give first and can get something in return. We will not only get
what we want but will actually be really happy in the end, because we need to
sow first before we can reap.
A kangaroo is an animal found only in Australia, although it has a smaller relative,
called a wallaby, which lives on the Australian island of Tasmania and also in New
Guinea.
Kangaroos eat grass and plants. They have short front legs, but very long, and very
strong back legs and a tail. These are used for sitting up and for hopping. Kangaroos
have been known to make forward jumps of over eight metres, and leap across fences
more than three metres high. They can also run at speeds of over 45 kilometres per hour.
The largest kangaroos are the Great Grey Kangaroo and the Red Kangaroo. Adult grow
to a length of 1.60 metres and weigh over 90 kilos.
Kangaroos are marsupials. This means that the female kangaroo has an external pouch
on the front of her body. A baby kangaroo is very tiny when it is born, and it crawls at
once into this pouch where it spends its first five months of life

The Two Goats
Over a river there was a very narrow bridge. One day a goat was crossing this bridge.
Just at the middle of the bridge he met another goat. There was no room for them to pass.
“Go back," said one goat to the other, "there is no room for both of us".
"Why should I go back?", said the other goat. "Why should not you go back?"
" You must go back", said the first goat, "because I am stronger than you."
"You are not stronger than I", said the second goat.
"We will see about that", said the first goat, and he put down his horns to fight.
"Stop!", said the second goat. " If we fight, we shall both fall into the river and be
drowned. Instead I have a plan- I shall lie down, and you may walk over me."
Then the wise goat lay down on the bridge, and the other goat walked lightly over
him. So they passed each other, and went on their ways. http://www.kidsgen.com/
