101 TITLE
This compilation of requirements shall be known as “The Bahamas Building Code” and may be cited as such, or as The “Building Code” and will be referred to hereinafter as “this Code”.
102 PURPOSE
The purpose of this Code is to provide certain minimum standards, provisions and re- quirements for safe and stable building design, methods of construction and uses of mate- rials in buildings and/or structures hereafter erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, re- paired, moved, converted to other uses or demolished, to regulate the equipment, materi- als, use and occupancy of all buildings. 101 TITLE
This compilation of requirements shall be known as “The Bahamas Building Code” and may be cited as such, or as The “Building Code” and will be referred to hereinafter as “this Code”.
102 PURPOSE
The purpose of this Code is to provide certain minimum standards, provisions and re- quirements for safe and stable building design, methods of construction and uses of mate- rials in buildings and/or structures hereafter erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, re- paired, moved, converted to other uses or demolished, to regulate the equipment, materi- als, use and occupancy of all buildings.
