What do you mean by “Shared”?• Given designate rights, you can manage other’s calendars• View other calendars• Create groups• Invite others to meetings/scheduling meetings

How to Install
Go to:http://softwarecenter.case.edu
• Download the program, save to convenient location• Run the installer• Accept all defaults• Start using!
•NOTE: upgrade, upgrade! Install the latest Oracle for abc12 support!

Viewing Others Agendas
By Default, anyone can open your agenda, but only your free/busy times, unless you have changed any of the access rights.This is to take advantage of the shared calendar capabilities.

Why Can’t I Find My Student?
• Students/Employees taking classes
– IF their student info is suppressed, they will not show up in the Oracle database. •Solution, either have them create the group
•Or remove the suppression

Palm/PDA Conduit
•Ability to sync your Palm or Pocket PC to Oracle Calendar
•NOTE: you will no longer be using Palm Desktop or Outlook for calendaring!•The Outlook connector does not work.•You can choose to sync any of the Calendar, Address Book and Task List, or all three!
•NOTE: You must have your Palm Desktop/Active Sync program already installed, and you should at least sync once prior to installing the Oracle Conduits.

After your settings, you are done! Now Sync!

Pocket PC/Dell Axim
•After Conduit Install/Settings:•Open ActiveSync without PDA in cradle•If you have a partnership, go to FILE/Delete Partnership
•If you sync to a file folder, click NO when it asks if you want to delete that folder!
•Sync your PDA now, and you will establish a new Partnership•Select sync with desktop•Do not choose the exchange environment if it asks•Choose number of computers•Set Calendar, Contacts and Tasks (or whichever you choose to sync) to Oracle

•In the Select Sync Settings, Choose the items you want to sync•Click next until finished•You may have to sync twice for effects to take place
