Jeff Badura Jeff Badura is a senior manager in the Biologics Research & Development group at Medtronic Spine. He has over 13 years of experience at Medtronic and currently leads a group of R&D engineers responsible for the INFUSE Bone Graft technology and the synthetic bone void filler MASTERGRAFT product lines. He is the product champion supporting approvals through generation of quality nonclinical data, cross-functional interaction with clinical and regulatory groups and communication with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In addition, his group is responsible for new product development and indication expansion for both the rhBMP-2 and synthetics technologies. Badura is well respected for his knowledge of spinal pathologies and their treatment, nonclinical orthopedic animal model development and execution, histological and radiographic analysis, translational research, and clinical indication and outcome measures. His technical leadership has been recognized with multiple Medtronic Technical Contributor of the Year, Spine Circle of Excellence and Star of Excellence nominations as well as being selected as a Medtronic Technical Fellow in Fall 2016. Badura is well published in the area of orthopedic bone grafting, including a book chapter, numerous peer-reviewed publications and scientific abstracts. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in biomedical engineering from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wis.
