1. How to register your Badgecraft account1.1 Type in your email which you want to use for badge activity on Badgecraft platform. You can use the same email also for badge earning with Badge Wallet application.

1.2 Choose your prefered method to login on Badgecraft. Use strong passwords!

1.3 Choose Badgecraft to create and issue badges. Badge Wallet is for badge earning activities. Make sure you confirmed your email address to use all features of Badgecraft platform!

1.4 If you already have an organisation, please choose the one where you have owner or admin rights to be able to create badge projects and badges. Continue to slide 10 to learn how to create a new organisation.

2. How to change information in your account2.1 Go to the upper left corner of the screen and click on Account.

2.2 Modify your account information as you wish. You can change/add prefered email(s) for using Badgecraft. Upload your profile picture to be recognisable by other people in your organisation and badge projects.

3. How to create а new organisation on Badgecraft3.1 If you yet did not create your organisation, go to the upper right corner of the screen, click on the three dots and choose Switch to organisation. You will be redirect to organisations’ switch list.

3.2 Inside organisations’ switch list click + or Create an organisation to create a new organisation.

3.3 Complete required information about organisation and click Create.

3.4 Follow the link to verify your organisation. Once verified, organisation’s information will be locked. Should you wish to modify your organisation later, contact Badgecraft to unlock this possibility.

4. How to start creating badges on Badgecraft4.1 If you start with a new badge activity, create new project by clicking on + or Create new project. People will join project for badge earning activities.

4.2 Complete required project information and click Start adding badges. You will be able later to modify project information.

4.3 Choose one of the ways to add badges to your project.

4.4 Choose Add standard badge from organisation to add non-editable badges from your organisation. After importing, you will not be able to modify these badges. This feature is coming soon.

4.5 Choose Create badges manually, should you wish creating new badges from the scratch.

4.6 Choose Import editable badge copy from library create new badges based on copies of badges available from badge library. After importing, you will be able to modify these badges.

5. How to prepare a simple badge for issuing on Badgecraft5.1 Should you wish to issue simple badge to emails or after using a special badge code, create a badge which will not require evidence upload.

5.2 Complete required badge information. Click Save, should you wish to come back and finalise a badge editing before making it available. If you finished editing badge, click Save and publish and it will be ready for issuing.

5.3 Return back to the project view and click on a badge. On the upper right corner of the screen you can choose to issue badge to earner’s email address or give a special badge code to badge earners.

5.4 Every badge will have automatically generated code. Badge earners can type in this code or scan QR code with Badge Wallet app to claim badge. You can choose to create codes manually for multiple or single uses.

6. How to prepare a badge with evidence requirements6.1 In a badge edit form choose This badge requires evidence and specify badge tasks. Badge earners will get such badge automatically after completing required minimum of badge tasks.

6.2 Define badge tasks and settings for evidence verification. If badge has several tasks, you can decide that evidence for different tasks are verified by users having different role. Save and publish your badge.

6.3 Return back to a project view and click on a badge to access a special badge code. Give this code to badge earners who can use it to get to a badge quest quicker.

6.4 Should you wish to modify published badge, first you will need to publish it. Click on pencil and unpublish a badge. Be aware that all completed tasks and submitted evidence will be canceled, except if earner already got this badge.

7.1 You can choose to select specific other badges in the project to require. Click on Set dependencies and select badges which you want earners to have before they can be issued another badge. You can also specify minimum number.

7. How to set other badges as a requirement

7.2 If you choose to activate This badge requires evidence and will keep other badges as requirement, then badge earner will be required to get other badges before they can start a badge quest.

7.3 Badge earners will see required badges when viewing a badge inside a project. Once they will complete badge requirement for other badges, they will receive a notification about unlock of a badge.

7.4 Badge earners will see required badges when viewing a badge which has other badges as a requirement.

7.4 You will need to first deselect badge from being set as dependency in case you will want to modify a badge which is used as a requirement for another badge.

8. How to invite people to a badge project8.1 Make sure that you are in a project to which you want to invite people. Click on Share project.

8.2 Activate auto-join web link. Sent this link to people who you want to join your badge project. By following this link they will join your badge project. It is also possible to use Badge Wallet to scan the QR code and join a project.

8.3 People will be added to a project after they will earn their first badge in a project. In the case of a simple badge - after using badge code. In the case of badge requiring evidence - after completing badge quest.

8.4 You can invite people to a badge project by sending an invitation to their email. Go to a badge project and click on Invite people to send them invitation to join a project. Before sending invite, you will be able to specify their role.

9. How to change a role of a person involved in a project9.1 Make sure that you are in a project to which you want to manage a role of a person. Go to Earners tab and click on a person to change a role.

9.2 To change a role, click on the 3 dots next to a person’s name and select new role. By changing the role to Owner or Admin you will grant them new rights to manage badges, project settings, invite people.

10. How to confirm badge evidence10.1 You will receive a new notification every time when badge earner will submit evidence. Go to Notifications to view requests to verify evidence.

10.2 Choose Evidence and select specific notification to view submitted badge evidence. Review badge task and Accept or Decline evidence. You may leave a comment or feedback.

11. How to create and issue badge certificate11.1 Make sure you are in a project where you want to create and issue badge certificates. Click on More actions (3 dots) and enter project’s settings.

11.2 Inside project settings you activate badge certificate option and complete required information for a certificate. Set who can initiate the issuing of certificates. Save changes.

11.3 Return back to project view and go to Earners tab. Select on individual earners in a list to issue them certificates. Earners will be notified via email about issued certificate.
