years in Italy, then moved to the United States.

One of the most prominent photographers of our time,

photographing everyone from everyday people to JFK and

Marilyn Monroe.

A photography purist, Erwitt has made his ideas about the profession known, and

his distaste for digital manipulation in photographs.
