FINDING FOOD SOURCE:

Met with area food bank who graciously offered assistance and met as a group with

• CNP Director (school liaison)• Food Bank Organization Director• 4 Church Representatives• Student Sponsor for senior project

SOURCE OF FUNDS:

Food bank cost approximately $3.00 per child per week.

Approximately $120.00 a school year per child. Churches determined how many children they could afford.

SOURCE OF FUNDS:

Backpacks originally donated by March of Dimes, this year they were purchased with logo for donations.

Calendar setup for monthly food bank delivery and weekly school delivery dates are set based on school calendar.

Each church began collecting funds and food bank placed bulk order once we determined total amount of children to feed.

RECAP:

Once a month church delivery.

Once a week school delivery and pick up of empty backpack and repeat all year.

More food is added to backpacks on holiday long break weekends.
