Pope Alexander VI He is one of the most controversial of the Renaissance popes. His nationality is Aragonese. However, his reputation is mostil drawn from his enemis, the Italian prelates and barons whose power he subverted. He was a Pope from 11th of August 1492 to his death on 18th August 1503. His Predecessor was Innocent VIII and his Successor was Pius III. He is buried in Santa Maria in Monserrato degli Spagnoli, Rome.
