hi... I have a degree in History and was quite a cum laude kaso sumabit ang grades ko sa humanities II under Dr. Sakili... para kasi siyang masubject and hindi talaga ako nagsipag...
based sa apat na taon ko as a student:1 ang magna cum laudei think merong mga at least 20 cum laudes1 passer sa UP College of Law (who happens to be a close pal) and probably very rare itong mangyari...
eto ang mga dapat mong gawin and i hope this will help:1. dapat magaling kang magsulat ng mga papers. its not enough that you shower your paper with facts, it should be well documented and thereferences are cited. dapat ding haluan ng mga figurative languages and rhetorics pero hindi over... puro papers ang requirements sa historykaya dapat umpisa pa lang ng semester, you start working on it na. usually 10-15 books ang minimum requirement that you should include inthe references of your paper...
NO PLAGIARISM ang policy and expulsion ang parusa...
6. dapat din na magkaroon ka ng positive attitude sa course. maraming mababa ang tingin sa history, akala nila madali. pero ang totoo, isa itsa mga cognitively challenging courses. do you know that some of the best lawyers have history as their undergrad degree? mas mabilis dinsilang sumulat ng mga case briefs because of their training sa pagsusulat. ang dami ding opportunities other than being a researcher and ateacher. puede kang mag-apply sa foreign service. maraming mga history majors ang pumapasa sa foreign service exams...
7. napakaganda ng course natin... give your best shot palagi. walang room ang laziness. hardwork pays off all the time and your efforts will berewarded accordingly to the intensity and passion you add on it.
kung meron ka pang mga inquiries, post ka lang ng message and i will be willing to help... God bless sa iyong bagong journey. by the way,
