• It is impossible to finish your study without passing final

examinations at both universities

◦ JKU: BSc thesis presentation

◦ USB: Bc thesis presentation / state examination

• At least 180 ECTS fitting within the curriculum

• Transfer all courses between JKU and USB

• Fill the examination roster at JKU (after state exam at USB)

• BSc (JKU) / Bc (USB)

• You can sign for Master subjects without comlepeted bachelor

• State examination is an entrance exam to Master Biological Chemistry

◦ Lab course in Physical Chemistry for BC (if missing)

◦ Biophysics Laboratory for Biological Chemistry for BC

◦ And …….

• Find / work / write your JKU BSc thesis

• Finish USB Bc thesis

• Register for (6th semester):

◦ Bachelor's Seminar Biological Chemistry JKU (incl. JKU thesis)

◦ Enrolment via STAG: 13.-27.1. 20 Registration: 10.2. – 14.2. 20

◦ Bachelor's Seminar Biological Chemistry USB (STAG)

◦ Study placement (STAG)

◦ Application form for defence of bachelor thesis and bachelor state

examination (during summer semester via study department)

5th / 6th semester – BC

• JKU TN faculty, universities or companies collaborating with JKU

◦ always under a supervision of JKU professor

• Contact a professor and discuss a topic and plan your lab work

• At least 3 week of lab work

• There is not a regulation about design and lenght (30 - 40 pages)

• Do not submit the JKU BSc thesis to the study department

• No need for hard cover book binding

◦ Bring a copy to Prof. Müller at least 5 days before presenting

◦ Register via email (email to [email protected]) with your full

name, id-number, thesis title, names of supervisor and co-supervisor.

◦ 12 + 3 minutes presentation
