6.If the appliance is not working as it should, has received a sharpblow, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped intowater, do not use and contact the VMAI customer service.

7.Do not stretch the cable or place the cable under strain. Keep thecable away from the heated surface. Do not close a door on thecable, or pull the cable around sharp edges or corners. Arrange thecable away from traffic areas and where it will not be stepped on ortripped over. Do not run the appliance over the cable.

8.Do not unplug by pulling on the cable. To unplug, grasp the plug,not the cable. The use of an extension cable is not recommended.

2.Setting up your Video Baby Monitor

2.1.Connecting the power adapter for the monitor if it is in low battery status.

•Connect the small plug of the adapter to the monitor and the other end to the power socket (Figure 1)

•Only use the enclosed adapter (5V DC/1.5A)

•Recommended charging time of at least 16 hours before the first use.

•Press and hold the POWER button on the top of the display to turn it ON (Figure 2)

2.2. Connecting the power adapter for the camera unit

•Connect the small plug of the adapter to the camera and the other end to the power socket (Figure 3)

•Only use the enclosed adapter (5V DC/1A)

•Switch the button by the side of the camera to turn it on (Figure 4)

Basic Operations

Monitor Unit

ON/OFF ButtonSwitch ON/OFF - Press and hold 3 seconds

Screen Sleep/Wake - Quick press one time

Menu Key Press to access different menu options

Back Key Press to back to previous directory

UP/DOWN Key Video Brightness / Temperature “+” & “-“

LEFT/RIGHT Key Navigation Key

OK Key Press and confirm the selection

Talk Button Press and hold to talk

Zoom Button Press to digital zoom

Adjust Button Press to adjust the volume level

Camera Unit

ON/OFF Button Switch the button to turn ON/OFF

Pair Button Press and hold to pair the monitor unit

3.To Pair the Devices

Please see the below chapter of “Menu and Functions” ---“Setting” ---“Camera”

Menu and FunctionsPress the Menu Button to set and select the functions you need.

Lullabies

Select the Lullabies icon and press the “OK” button, then user can choose lullaby to play from the lullabies list.

It will automatically single cycle the song if choose any lullaby in the display.

It will automatically repeat all lullabies list if select ALL.

Singing volume can be adjusted by choosing the level.

View

Select the View icon and press the “OK” button, user can view any camera from 1-4 or scan these 4 cameras.

Temperature Alarm Setting

By setting the highest and lowest temperature limitation parameters, when room temperature exceeds the limitation setting, monitor will alarm automatically.

Feeding Timer

Select the Feeding Timer icon and press the “OK” button, user can choose or customize the alarming time to remind for feeding kids. After selected, an alarm icon will appear in video view interface. If reaches predefined time, monitor will alarm for 5 seconds.

VOX

When the baby is sleeping quietly, the camera will not pick any noise, the monitor can switch to the Stand By mode automatical-ly and it switches on again as soon as the baby starts crying.

Select the VOX icon and press the OK button. Use the up and down button to select one of the following options:

“OFF”: The VOX function is disabled. All sounds from the baby room wouldn’t be transmitted, even when the baby is crying.

“Low”: The VOX function is enabled with low sensitivity, sounds are transmitted only when the baby is crying loudly

“Middle”: The VOX function is enabled with medium sensitivity, the camera transmits sounds when the baby is crying normally

“High”: The VOX function is enabled with high sensitivity, even soft sound from the baby room is transmitted

The word “VOX” appears at the top of the screen while this function is enabled.

VOX + Power Save: Screen will automatically switch on if sound is detected. The monitor will be switched into sleep mode if no sound is detected in 30s or press the Power Button.

Remarks:

The sound of the monitor is switched off approximately 30 seconds after the camera is no longer picking up any noises. The display remains enabled.

As soon as the camera detects noise, depending on the sensitivity setting, the sound is enabled again and can be heard through the monitor.

Warm Tip:

This function is designed for making parents feel relieved without viewing or nobody besides the baby. To let them know whether the baby is crying as soon as possible. If the alarm is too sensitive to bother in life, please TURN IT OFF.

Setting

Some basic settings such as display brightness, time, add/delete cameras can be operated in this function.

1.Brightness Level

Users can select brightness levels according to the light changes.

2.Camera

Select the “Add Camera” (it supports add 4 cameras at most) to add connection camera to monitor.

To pair the camera and monitor, select one of the slots from “Add Camera” and press camera “Pair” button to pair within 30 seconds.

To remove the connection, just simply select the corresponding camera in the “Delete Camera”.

3.Motion Detection

Users can hear alarm once any movement happened if the function is ON.

Warm Tips:

The function can be sensitive by slow actions from baby and alarm can be frequently triggered. If bothering normal life, please Turn Off the function.

The alarm might not be activated by a fast movement which is probaly defined as an adult’s action.

4.Other Function

Display time can be set and modified by access “Time” page.

Users can switch 60Hz&50Hz easily by “Frequency” function.

Users can delete all cameras and settings history by “Default Setting”.

To Mount the Camera1.Drill two holes on the wall.

2.Install the green kits in the wall

3.Insert the nails at the bottom of the camera

4.Insert the nails part into the green part (in the wall)

Reset:If the monitor is crushed, please carefully use a needle to press the Reset Key at the lower right back of the monitor; then; the monitor will be shut down. You could restart the monitor by pressing the power button later.

Warm Tips

1.All alarm functions are designed to assist users to take care ofthe baby better and make life easier. If they are so sensitive thatalarm frequently and bother your living, please turn them off.

2.If your devices fail to operate, please ensure that your camera is plugged in the power and plug is working properly. And pleaseensure the monitor has power.

4.WARRANTY - When used strictly in accordance with instruc-tions, if you discover that any parts of the VMAI Baby Monitor aredamaged or broken, whether due to manufacturing, shipping oraccidents while in use, please email us, we will reply you within 24 hrs and help you solve the problem.
