This morning starts with yoga classes nearby.The instructor seems really kind. No wonder his class is so popular. The sky stretches out eternally as I open the door.I automatically take a deep breath and refreshing air pours in.With my favorite yoga mat and BABY-G, I hurry towards my class.

Crisp, fresh air on my skin and glimmering sunlight pouring down onto me.My favorite music starts streaming through my earphones, its up-tempo beat perfect for a morning run.With a light stretch and last minute check of my running shoes, I spring into step, uplifted by the carefree music in my ears.

LUNCH BREAK

With some sudden time before my next meeting, I decide to grab a light lunch at a nearby café.I quickly get absorbed into a novel that recently grabbed my interest as I take a bite out of my vegetable sandwich with some sparkling water.Slow and quiet times like these are a luxury that I greatly appreciate.

COLORFUL THINGS

My plan for today’s lunch is to fix up a salad, something I’ve been hooked onto recently. I take out the variety of vegetables that I shopped at the local market. Since I don't need to worry about my lime green color watch getting wet, I quickly dip them through water and neatly tear and cut them into bite-size pieces. These days I like to mix in pops of color to liven up my mood.

AT THE OFFICE

It’s almost time for my next meeting, I think, as I glance down at my watch and grab my documents. I am completely prepared with this meeting, unlike the party tonight.The last few days, I was all over town getting party goods because I just wanted to have a little special surprise for my girlfrend Gigi's birthday.After all this preparation, I can't believe I am so nervous and I wonder how she will react on the gift I've gotten for her. Let's hope it goes well.

The initial planning is crucial for desk work. I note my tasks for the day and organize my priorities of what I need to finish. I won’t allow myself to work overtime tonight – I have plans with Brian.He seemed quite nervous when he asked to come to his place tonight. I noticed he was planning on something. . .With fresh coffee, I get back to work and promise myself to finish everything on time.

I've been thinking about Gigi's birthday party for a while.We sit on the sofa with a background of holiday songs coming from the stereos. As I enter Brian's apartment, I’m astonished by the beautiful party decorations.When did he ever have the time?The music is so romantic and the food also tastes wonderful. He hands me his present and I open the wrapping to find trendy matching watches.“Even when we’re apart, we’ll be connected through these” He says and I find those words and the watches such a lovely gift for my birthday.This is the most wonderful memory of the year.

To remember this moment, I start to take pictures of us.
