CORD SIEGELArchitect and Partner at studio ‘Hauschild + Siegel Archi-tecture’, Malmö, Sweden / Hamburg, Germany

Cord founded the Swedish-German studio ‘Hauschild + Siegel Architecture’ in 2008. The office deals primarily with design for living and the challen-ge of understanding dwellings as urban-active and socially progressive building blocks. They won the Kasper Sahlin Prize in 2009 for the project ‘Urban Villas’, and the Sveriges Arkitekters Hou-sing Prize in 2015 and the Svensk Betong Prize in 2016 for the ‘O’hoj’ housing complex.

MATTIAS KÄRRHOLMProfessor of Architecture, Lund University, Sweden

Mattias studied Architecture at Lund University where he earned a Ph.D. in Architecture. He wor-ked as a Lecturer and Professor at Malmö Univer-sity and Lund University, where he is currently a Professor of Architectural Theory at the Depart-ment of Architecture and the Built Environment. His research deals with territoriality, the use of public space, urban design, materiality, ac-tor-network theory, society and space, and every-day life.

JENNY B. OSULDSENPartner at Snøhetta, Oslo, Norway; MLArch, Professor ofLandscape Architecture at Ås University, Norway;Ax:Johnson Guest Professor, Lund, Sweden

Jenny is educated as a Landscape Architect in Norway (MLArch 1991) and in the USA. She has been working at Snøhetta, where she is one of six partners, since 1995. Landscape and architecture have developed at Snøhetta into a single ideology for creating a new and emerging spirit for ar-chitectural practices, worldwide. Jenny has been a member of the SUDes team as a guest professor since 2014.

JAKOB TROLLBÄCKFounder of The New Division, Stockholm, Sweden, and rollbäck + Company, New York, USA

Jakob is the main Architect behind the communi-cation language for the ‘17 Global Goals’, an ambitious and inspiring agenda for a better world by 2030. In 1999 he founded Trollbäck + Company, a creative studio that has since become a touch-stone for advertisers, marketers and TV networ-ks. With offices in Stockholm and New York, Jakob specialises in strategies and communication for sustainability.

JONNA EKHOLMSUDes Alumni, Architect at GEHL - Making Cities for People, Copenhagen, Denmark

Jonna graduated from the Sustainable Urban Design Master’s Program at LTH in Lund in 2016. During

her studies she worked part-time at Liliewall Arkitekter and in 2016 she was the SUDes Ambas-sador for Habitat III in Quito, Ecuador. Since 2016 Jonna has worked as an Architect and Urban Designer at GEHL with a focus on urban analysis and strategic planning. She has a profound inte-rest in global development issues and the social aspect of cities, and strives in all her work to create safe and inclusive public spaces that encourage unexpected meetings, whether in a slum area or in a local Scandinavian neighborhood.

CHRISTER LARSSONHead of the ‘New Architectural Policy’ of Sweden,Town Planning Director, City of Malmö, Sweden

Christer graduated as an Architect at LTH in Lund and also studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, Sweden. In 1998 he became Head of Department as City Architect for the City of Malmö and in 2005 he became Director of City Planning. Since 2017 he has worked as Professor of Architecture at Lund University. Christer is a Member of the Royal Engineering Academy (IVA) and Chairman of the Nordic City Network, Mindset for Nordic Urban Development. He is now appointed to be the first Riksarkitekt of Sweden.

LISA EKSTRÖMArchitect at Skälsö Arkitekter, Stockholm, Sweden

Skälsö Arkitekter was founded in the year 2010 in Visby, Gotland. Lisa studied at both KTH and London before joining Skälsö Architects in 2014, starting at the Gotland office before moving to the new Skälsö studio in Stockholm in 2016. Skälsö Arkitekter was awarded both the ‘Best Young Ar-chitect’ prize and the ‘Villaprize’ for 2017.

ULLA HORNSYLDDirector of Landscape CPH at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group, Co-penhagen, Denmark

Ulla graduated in 2001 in Landscape Architecture at the University of Copenhagen. She worked at SLA from 2006 to 2016, been involved in many projects including Bymilen, Tivoli Hotel and the Maersk Building in Copenhagen. She previously worked for Marianne Levinsen and Peter Holst Landskab. Ulla has been working at BIG since 2016 where she is now Director of Landscape CPH.

EVA DALMANProject Manager, Brunnshög, Lund, Sweden

Eva graduated in Architecture at Lund University, Sweden. She is now Project Manager at Lunds Kom-mun and is responsible for the Brunnshög develop-ment project, where 40,000 people will live, work and study once completed. Previously she has been Project Manager for the urban development of Väs-tra Hamnen, Malmö. Eva has extensive experience in sustainability and processes.
