The Supreme Industries Limited is one of the leading plastic processors in India manufacturing and marketing wide range of plastics products and has multi location manufacturing facilities.

The Supreme Industries Limited, Unit – III at Gadegaon is committed to green productivity and protection of Environment, Occupational Health and Safety and hence reaffirms its commitment to minimize the impact of its products, activities and services on the Environment and Occupational Health and Safety.

Towards this end, we are committed to:

• Comply with all current applicable legal and other requirements, which relate to its environmental aspects and Occupational Health and Safety Hazards.

• Establish sound Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety objectives, targets and a process of reviewing objectives set and programmes thereof.

• Use of environmentally sustainable and safe technologies and practices in the planning and operational stages of all work activities, products and services for prevention of pollution, injury and ill health through the continual improvement in its Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health management performance.

organization.• Employ relevant techniques and methods, such as safety audits and periodic

risk assessment of the status on health, safety and environment and taking all possible remedial measures.

• Integrate health and safety in all decisions related to purchase of plant, equipment, machinery and materials.

• The policy shall be communicated to all those working for and on behalf of the organization for the awareness on their individual Safety and Occupational Health obligations.

• The policy shall be made available to Public on request.• The policy shall be reviewed periodically to ensure that it remains relevant and

Environment: Surroundings: Air, Water, Land, Natural resources, Flora, Fauna, Humans & their interrelation.

Environmental Aspect: Element of an organisation’s activities or products or services that can interact with the environment.

Environmental Impact: Any change to the environment, whether adverse or beneficial, wholly or partially resulting from an organisation’s environmental aspects.

Significant Environmental Aspect:It is an environmental aspect that has or can have a significant environmental impact.

Objective of Incident report:• To investigate incidences of accidents in systematic

Do not get panic, Be calm,

Do not run,Don’t shout unnecessarily,Keep passage clear.Switch off electrical supply, if electrical equipment under emergency.Remove unburned material from the fire.Operate appropriate fire extinguishers to extinguish the fire.Move Injured to gate.Starts FIRST AID – Seek help.On completion, report to Factory Manager / HOD / SHE / Security.

Manager / Shift Incharge shall be BREAK the GLASS of FIRE ALARM STATION (FAS).

Security Inspector (INCIDENT CONTROLLER):

After hearing of FIRE ALARM in ECR, Incident Controller will summon Emergency Rescue Team, First Aider & all necessary Safety Equipment and rush to emergency location. (Refer F/SHE/19: Emergency Rescue Team & F/SHE/20 – 2: First Aider)

Emergency Preparedness

Fire Hydrant Operator

After hearing of emergency siren, 132 KVA operators rush to Pump House & shall ensure that fire hydrant pump is started and waiting for further instructions.

Activity:

Situation controlled by Incident Controller with Emergency Rescue Team

Do not get panic, Be calm.

Do not run.Don’t shout unnecessarily.Main gate must be controlled by security.Restrict entry to the plant.Keep passage clear.Switch off electrical supply, if electrical equipment under emergency.Remove unburned material from the fire.Operate fire hydrant system & fire extinguishers to extinguish the fire.If required, arrange for outside aid like help from fire brigade, ambulance van, doctor, police etc. through HR / security department.On the instructions from the Incident controller, following actions to be taken by HR / security department:•Contact outside aid agency.Opening of emergency exits.Arrange to send ambulance van at emergency site.Emergency telephone numbers are available with ECR, Security Gate & HR department. (Refer F/SHE18: List of Emergency contact Number of outside organization)After controlling emergency, Incident controller shall inform to HR for head counting.Move Injured to gate.Starts FIRST AID – Seek help.Keep vehicle to ready for injured to hospital.On completion, report to Factory Manager / HOD / SHE / Security.Then inform to all department situation under controlled.
