Faculty will attach their CVs to this page. i. CVs must be attached from a Central Washington University computer (virus protection) ii. CVs should not contain personal addresses or phone numbers (personal protection). These will be VERY secure, but accrediting agencies will have access to them. iii. However, you must click on the SAVE button before you leave the page. (See examples #1 & 2) Add/Delete functions – It is now possible to add and delete rows within the tables. All tables are empty until the user selects the “ADD ROW” button. The tables can be as large as needed. (See example #3) Checkbox for new activities – There is now a checkbox on each line of the tables to indicate what activities were NOT reported on the workload plans. This will be the first year that the Activity Report will be on-line. It will be a live database, similar to the workload plan database.

www.cwu.edu/~avpfa/ar

The Activities Report will have seven sections available for input. An example of the layout, although not the final version, can be seen in Example #1.

1) Instruction – see Example #2

2) Scholarship/Research/Creative Activities - see Example #3

3) Service – see Example #4

4) CV’s – see Example #5 a. Faculty will attach their CVs to this page.

i. CVs must be attached from a Central Washington University computer (virus protection)ii. CVs should not contain personal addresses or phone numbers (personal protection).

These will be VERY secure, but accrediting agencies will have access to them. iii. CVs need to be in either a PDF or Word 2003.

5) Professional Development - see Example #6

6) Honors/Awards - see Example #7

7) Self-Evaluation - see Example #8

The following changes were built in, based on feedback from faculty:SAVE function – It is now possible to SAVE each section of the activity report, and submit only when all 7

sections are ready. However, you must click on the SAVE button before you leave the page. (See examples #1 & 2)

Add/Delete functions – It is now possible to add and delete rows within the tables. All tables are empty until the user selects the “ADD ROW” button. The tables can be as large as needed. (See example #3)

Checkbox for new activities – There is now a checkbox on each line of the tables to indicate what activities were NOT reported on the workload plans. (See example #3)

Auto-Fill features – When you log into your workload, the system will pull the following information from Groupwise and insert it into the form; first and last name, e-mail address, and CWU ID number. (See example #1)When you select your department, it will auto-fill the appropriate chair and dean/primary appointing authority.

Overview pages – (See examples #1, 8 & 9)Print capabilities – printing is controlled by the web browser used to view the workload. In the past this has

caused problems because we have so many different web browsers on campus. The new printing format has been tested on a wider variety of web browsers, and has worked successfully. (See example #10)

Sorting options – you can sort activity reports in a number of ways. (See examples #8 & 9)

Following are examples of the new activity report. PLEASE NOTE: These are still test documents, and the individuals, departments and colleges are not real. However, to test the system as thoroughly as possible, we needed to establish new ‘faculty’.
