As summer quickly becomes a distant memory the end of financial year is rapidly approaching. A traditionally hectic time of year for the construction industry, 2019 is proving to be no different. The end of financial year also signals the halfway mark of the year (unbelievably!) and is a great opportunity to stop, catch your breath and reflect of the year so far. At Camco, this year has seen the completion of several long running projects – we have cleared the congestion on West Thebarton Road/Phillips Street and Brandis Road has just had the last of the deeplift asphalt laid. Several projects are also continuing into winter – Waterfall Gully, where helicopters have been sighted delivering concrete and Apex Park/Lockleys Riding Club come to mind. We are also managing several land division sites, both brown fields and green fields, which should see the new financial year start off on a solid footing. What’s Been Happening at Camco by Chris Goold - Director
Welcome again to another edition of the Camco Newsletter,
Autumn 2019. As summer quickly becomes a distant memory the
end of financial year is rapidly approaching. A traditionally hectic

different. The end of financial year also signals the halfway mark

Camco Autumn Newsletter | May 2019
News from Inside the Camco Office With Autumn on its last legs you can say its been a crazy season of
weather. With winter right on our door step we will all be pulling
out the warm jackets and scarves sooner rather than later.
Since summer we have had a few changes in the office. We would
like to welcome Teearna Dios-Brun to the team, she is our new
Reception/Admin Officer. Teearna is new to the construction
industry and has a great enthusiasm to learn. She has been a wonderful
addition to our office.
Sam Piotrowski and Greg Davey have both had a shift in job roles, with Sam now the Construction Manager
and Greg the Estimating Manager. With their long combined history at Camco, we know that they will
continue to successfully lead our team into the future.
We would like to also recognise 2 of our staff members who have been with us for a while. Our System
Manager, Marco Puz celebrated his 7 years of service and Ben Harford, one of our Leading Hands, is
celebrating his 10 years at Camco. We are truly grateful to those who have chosen to stay with Camco for
such long periods of time and we are always excited to celebrate these milestones with each and every one
of them. As the year goes on, we also have to say goodbye to a dear friend. After 9 years with Camco,
Chris Henshall will be leaving us to enjoy his well deserved retirement. Chris will be greatly missed and we
wish him all the best on this new journey in his life.
On a happy note, we want to congratulate Ashlee Trimmer on her recent engagement to her partner Dillon.
They will be tying the knot next June and we wish them all best in this new chapter in their lives.
