AGM JK noted that the AGM is due to take place in Spring term, along with the re-election of the Executive Committee. It was discussed and suggested that the preferred time for the IHn AGM would be at the summer conference where we have most membership in attendance. JK asked for a vote on deferring the AGM until July; majority agreed. JK also asked for a vote on moving the election of Executive Committee members to the same time (ie July, summer conference); this was also carried by a majority agreement

Financial Update LH reported that the IHn accounts were audited on 14 September 2017. The audit reported total deposits of £26,030 and total withdrawals of £28,453.40. The in-year overspend had been an anticipated use of carry forward whilst consideration was made to an increase in the annual subscription for 2018-2019. It was recommended that individual subscriptions are increased to £500 per annum for 2018/2019. This was put to the vote and agreed by majority.
AOB BOS asked that every HT reply to the consultation document sent out by Schools Forum. The deadline for this has been extended to allow everyone to reply. JK reported that the Christmas Dinner, traditionally held by LBI and sponsored by Caterlink, would not take place this year due to the contract being out for tender. MT/AD and JK suggested IHn organise a Xmas Drinks event this year, and asked for members to vote on whether IHn should contribute to this. Majority voted yes, and JK will organise. BOS also noted that this will be Brian Bench’s last term with us – encouraged all HTs to attend his leaving event at school on 21 December.
