4. How do I know if the Link can support more than 14 I/O modules?• Each I/O Module Channel Type utilizes a different
amount of memory within the AS 417F controller. • The total amount of memory available for a single

Benefits; reduced costs, elimination of controller to controller communications, architecture, and controller logic simplification. I/O timing must be calculated for a particular installation, but in general the AS 417F controller is much faster than the CCM controllers it is replacing.

PCS 7 QUADLOG DP/IO Bus Link
1. Peer to Peer Controllers are Not Supported.
2. During engineering the addition of a new I/O module or changes to an existing channel type or parameter will require a full controller download and controller restart.
3. SOE (Sequence of Events) is not supported. SOE channel types can be configured, however they will function as a normal discrete inputs.
4. DP/IO Bus Link does not support Modbus communications. For architectures were Modbus devices have been integrated into the CCM, they will have to be connected to the AS 417F controller using ET200 I/Os and the CP341.
