The objective of our Project Automated Car Rental System is to record the details various

activities of customer, operator & administrator.

It will simplifies the task and reduce the paper work & the response time of the system

is very less.

PROJECT SCOPE

By using this car rental database system, there will different capabilities provided to different system such as Car rental

industry & Customers.

The area covers include:

Car rental industry: This includes how the car rental business is being done, process involved and opportunity that exist for

improvement.

Customers: When the customers want to rent any car, the payment, date and time interval phases are provided by the

system.

REQUIRMENT SPECIFICATION

This project is used in the Car rental Company for managing the Car booking efficiently.

Customers

o Come to the operator. o Register themselves as the customer of the company. o Select the cars according to the type & requirement.

Operator

o Add new customers in the company’s customer list. o View the list of available cars to the customers. o Book the cars according to the customers selection. o Maintain the list of returned cars.

Administrator

o Add new cars in the company’s car list. o Remove the damage cars from the company’s car list. o Define & timely update the hourly rates for each cars. o Maintain the availability of cars in the company’s car list. o View & update/delete the customer information of list of company. o Calculate the collection report of the company.

Software-Hardware Requirement

o Windows 7 o Eclipse (kepler, juno) Software

(JDK-1.7.0_45, JRE-7). o Institute’s PC, Laptops: 8Gb

Ram, Processor- Intel core i7 o Personal Pen drives.

management of passed year perfectly and vividly.

In a very short time, the collection will be obvious, simple and sensible. It will be also reduced the cost

of collecting the management & collection procedure will go on smoothly.

The present project has been developed to meet the aspirations indicated in the modern

age such as in web application.

The facility Include in this project and the suggested activities have been organized to

impart knowledge & develop skill & attitude in the College official works.
