A lot of people think that meditation is boring. I literally get hundreds of people that

I teach or that I have studied with say, “I don’t meditate” or “it’s just boring.” It makes no sense to me to sit down to do nothing, especially for people that are entrepreneurial, leaders that are just thinking “let’s do the next project! Let’s do the next book! Let’s support the next aspect in humanity!”

I work with a lot of people that are creating a big impact in humanity, and they think sitting down for two hours is just a ridiculous waste of time. The way that you can meditate without getting bored out of your mind is doing a standing meditation. You can, before any project you do, before any book, before any speech you do, before any big event that you have, you can actually stand up and say, “I am meditating right now.”

There is a Harvard University study about these powerful words and how they are immediately impacting your brain into

balance, into coherence, and into more congruency. And you just have to do it standing up.

In India, there is an ancient tradition in which you actually jump while meditating. People think that to meditate you only have to be sitting down. Look at children. They are in consistent meditation. Sometimes they just jump to release the energy, to release all the negative information they are receiving, and they are just jumping. And you say, what are you doing? Can you stop?

Don’t make them stop. They’re actually releasing. They are cleaning their lymphatic system, and they are getting in a state of meditation. So, let us learn from children how to not get bored out of our mind. Just have a standing meditation and you will see how amazing it is.

When you start doing that, you shift your perception of meditation as boring, and very soon you will be sitting down and enjoying the endorphins and the amazing effects of meditation.

You don’t have to do it by the book. You can find your own way. Jump it. Stand up, but just really, really know that you are meditating. Just think like a child, and go back to that space where you are going to immediately get into a meditative state very easily.

HOW TO BE A LEADER OTHERS WANT TO FOLLOW

Leadership is one of my most passionate topics and one of the things that I really believe to the core of my heart that

humanity needs the most right now. Our children, more than any time in the history of our planet, need true leaders to arrive on earth. We don’t need only one leader; we need a massive awakening of leaders.

Right now, a lot of people are called leaders, but actually it’s a lot of marketing right now. You never know who is a real leader out there and you never know who is really helping you. If you see that your leaders, whoever you are following as a leader, are not making you feel more empowered are not making you feel more sovereign, or don’t make you feel that you can do things by yourself, then you are not in the presence of a leader.

A leader will guide you to be the best version of yourself that you can be. They will not tolerate incongruences. They will be the role model exactly of what they ask of you. If your leader is telling you, “We are going to be the best floor cleaners in the world,” you will actually see the leader get down on the floor and clean the carpet.

We cannot ask that which we are not willing to do ourselves. We cannot expect from others that which we are not willing to give. We cannot receive anything that we are not willing to donate ourselves.

A true leader will give massive value to people no matter what. You are not thinking only of you. That would be totally ego, which puts you in a position of a manager.

Leadership is a hat, such as management, such as being a dad, such as being a teacher. They are all hats that we are playing in humanity all the time. It’s roles, but to wear the role of leadership carries a very high responsibility because a true leader can really impact, not only a generation, but 12 generations and more.

Another quality true leaders have is congruency. Sometimes I tell people they need to be congruent and they say, “there’s no such thing as congruency.” I believe there is, and congruency is also the capacity to admit wrongdoing. Like, “I made a mistake” or “I need to make an amends.” That’s congruency. But if you say, “I never make mistakes” and “I always know what others need.” That is neither congruency or leadership!

The third big, big quality that I’ve seen in the best leaders in the world is that they have moral authority, which is different than authority. Moral authority is that they have earned the right to teach others, to lead others, and to tell others what to do. How? Through their experience, by their hard work, and by being an example consistently, not only in their business, not only in their family, but in the wholeness of their life. In their health, in their family, in their business, everything they do, they earned the right of calling something that is called moral authority. In their presence, people will naturally do as the leader says, and not to become a follower, but to actually awaken the leader within themselves.

And when a true leader rises, they have many qualities. The three most powerful qualities that I’ve seen in the leaders that I have followed or learned from or model after are absolute integrity. For example, if you’re at a casino in Vegas and you’re playing Blackjack, if they give you an extra chip when they are paying you in Blackjack and you keep that money, that’s not having integrity. I don’t care if it’s one dollar, two, or five. If it’s not your money, and you have integrity, you return it. You will always return what is not yours.

HOW TO STOP WASTING TIMEDOING WHAT MATTERS MOST

People don’t know how important it is to master the use of their time. They think that scheduling or putting things on

paper is actually a boring or a very hard thing to do. I have had people in my family tell me, “Ivonne, you are so obsessed with scheduling everything on paper.” And you know why I do it? Because when I started doing that, I really began to create more time for doing the things I love.

I used to keep track of everything I had to do in my mind. I’ve got to go take the kids to school. I’ve got to go preparetheir meals. I’ve got to film a video. So, of course, at the end of the day I was so overwhelmed and I was like, “I neverhave time for myself!” Then I hired a time management coach. If you are a

leader or entrepreneur and are not managing your time well, then step out of your role as leader because you are not really leading people to success.

Time management is actually a way to manage your mind and to create more time for the things you love. This is how Ido it. I tend to do something called PTT, which is called “Plan Today for Tomorrow,” and I added a little “s”. It’s Plan Today for Tomorrow’s Success. I am programming myself every night that the next day is going to be awesome, it is going to be successful, and it’s also going to be well managed.

Even if you have only one thing to do, I have found that if you write it on paper or on a calendar and you say, “from 2-4I’m going to be writing a book. From 4-5 I’m going to have a break for lunch or dinner and make some calls while I’mdoing that,” then your productivity will increase and with that personal power too.

Confidence goes down when you think you’re overwhelmed. When you think you have no time, stop and really go back

Facebook 10 hours and then at night complaining, “ I don’t know why I didn’t have time to do the laundry or to take the kids to do something fun,” it’s because you were investing 10 hours on Facebook. You could have spent 7-8 a.m. having breakfast with your kids, which will be feeding, nurturing, and connecting. You can have from 7-8 a.m. to take a shower and time for self-care. You could have 8-9 a.m. to exercise or spend it preparing the meals for the day.

If you are not using a schedule, you are really wasting your time because your mind is trying to keep up with everythingyou are trying to do. If you are straining yourself at work, check how you are scheduling your time. If you’re trying tohave more quality time with your kids, check how you are scheduling your time. Or if you are trying to have a moreloving relationship with yourself, check how you are scheduling your time.

So that’s my suggestion for you. If you don’t want to do it, just know that you will continue to waste your time, but I amreally hopeful that you will take action right now.

to where your soul was before you were even conceived. We are not here to have time, we’re here to create it.

Time is not your enemy. People feel like slaves to time, and they don’t know that time is actually a slave for us humans.It’s a tool. It’s a practical skill that we can actually master, teach our children, and use wisely.

I have people ask me, “how have you published 16 books in less than five years?” It’s because I just schedule my time. I put it on paper. I put in every Tuesday that I’m going to write a book.

I also schedule my time for distractions, and this is something I learned from my coach. He said, “Ivonne, no matterwhat, I want you to put in your calendar two hours for distractions.” And I said, “why would I like to schedule distractions?” And he said to me, “Because life happens.”

A ot of people these days are talking very openly about increasing sales on social

media. You can see websites about money, about sales and how to be the biggest person that sells in the world.

There are even people competing about who makes the biggest sale or who makes the most money. There has been a massive re-patterning right now of money consciousness in our world that we needed. It’s easy now to talk about money. It’s not chastised or evil anymore, and I like that because we are required to remove that ignorance from the planet because that ignorance is more expensive than education.

But if we just focus on selling, just for competing with others, just to prove that we are the best salesperson in the world, just to prove that we can make more money, then we are forgetting the

massive and most important reason for why we are doing what we do--to serve people, which is to serve your family, which is to serve the community, and with that, to serve the world.

If we forget the reason of the big why on why we are selling, why we are offering our mission, and why we are charging for our gift, we forget that we immediately come out of integrity. If you forget, you will see something miraculously happen. Your sales will begin to go down. Or you begin to actually have challenges. You are forgetting why you are doing what you are doing, which is serving people, serving their missions, serving humanity to evolve consciously.

So, if you approach sales only as a way to make money or compete with others to see who will make the most money in a month, you are totally, totally missing the point on why we are here as a human family. When I’m receiving money because I’m going to be of service to others, I’m actually serving my family, serving my people, and serving everyone to grow. It’s important you bring back that awareness, then you are not only going to increase your sales, but you are actually going to increase massive transformation and true re-patterning of money consciousness in the world.

M What has your experience been like?

T My experience has been super educational. I’m getting so much value from this and I learned how to transmit a message, bring the passion, serve the people. It upgraded my mind, my way of serving and it emphasized how important it is to deliver an authentic message. There was real feedback, like a call to bring your best self to this and that is what I really loved about this experience. I have more clarity now. I can serve people even better and I can even get to more people. I was getting only to a very little niche before. I felt super safe to be me and super comfortable and actually empowered to share more of my mission.

MATTHEW What was it that appealed to you about working with AMF?

IVONNE I’m always interested in working with people that have very high values, and I knew that Matthew and his team were really focused on integrity, congruency and helping people. He was so focused on really helping me get out there that it was a no brainer for me to work with them. It was actually more than a business decision, it was a very spiritual call for me, a very transformational thing and it was a great professional venue for me to really upgrade what I was offering. I was in my little YouTube mode with my little iPhone. It was not really delivering the value that I wanted to deliver to the people that give me the opportunity to serve them.

M And how did you feel about being on camera?

T I was having so much fun on camera. It was educational and the team made me feel so comfortable because there was a trust and ease with that.

M What did you like the most about the production?

T The productivity, I love that in a day I can film 40-60 videos. I’m addicted to productivity and for me as a mom with three kids, to be able to do that in a day doesn’t take time away from my family or serving my clients.

Ivonne Alexander, also known as Swami Amenai or Ivonne Delaflor (her maiden name) is the founder and president of Delaflor Teachings International,

founder of Mastery Life A.C., co-founder of the Higher School for Conscious Evolution and Spritual Dean of the Ascended Masters Teaching Academy.

She is the author of over 16 books, the creator of The Codes of AH©, and is the Leader of AWAKEN THE MASTERMIND.

Ivonne’s life has served to empower, teach, motivate, guide and share ancient wisdom translated into easy modern ways that anyone can use for their own self-realization and betterment of their lives, their families, their communities, and contribution to the world and the Human Family.

M Would you recommend other people do the same?

T For me actually coming to Matthew and Authority Marketing was a call for me. I knew I had to do this. Over the years I have been approached by a lot of people who do filming, and I didn’t want to work with them. I absolutely recommend people do this. Why? Because if you have not moved out of your comfort zone and are still doing little videos thinking that is going to get you to stardom, you are living an illusion and I hate when any of us in humanity do this.



You can choose to record your message with whomever you want. I’m not here to compete with anyone. I’m

not here to prove anyone wrong. Everyone delivers their own unique thing. But I can assure you that with me I won’t let your essence, your authencity and your passion be drifted away because those are the things that get real leads that change lives forever.

I use to be one of those people who studied film, won an Emmy award and I went into video to make a life, to make a lifestyle and to feed my family. I’ve made a lot of videos, I know what it feels like to be in front of the camera, to be vulnerable and have that feeling of uncertainty, not knowing if you are going to succeed or not.

I can promise you that your essence, the purity of your message, the purity of the message of your company, of the product you want to deliver and your call to action will be done in such a way that there is no possible way that you will not be able to create results because your marketing and your media will become your life message. That even though you want to go on vacation for three years, your videos and your message will be working for you. You can choose to hire anyone you want but I promise you that when you work with me, I’m going to make sure that in front of the camera you are you, you are authentic, you are powerful and your mission is delivered in a way that you will transform lives and you will get the leads that will transform lives themselves.
